Reptilian

Would it help if you just concentrated on the Reject Junk Food sigil and I/we modified the chf&e sigil?

Whichever way, when do you think you will have the time needed to complete your part of the puzzle?

Please do not think I am pressuring you unduly but I feel it is important to maintain the momentum on this. I am sure that whatever you are able to contribute will be well worthwhile!

Best regards

I've followed this entire thread and have to say I think it's brilliant what Albion's started here. I've remained quiet due to not having much to add. This is my take on updating the sigil. The left being purely thickened heavier lines, the right adding in a couple of little tweaks of my own. It's not as neat and tidy as I'd like but it's not easy faffing with a laptop excuse for a mouse.

I honestly can't tell you when I'll have time, but it won't be until next week at very soonest. I have lots of stuff going on. It won't really make it easier for me to focus on one sigil or the other, but I willing to do that if you prefer.
As for momentum, I understand what you mean, but I can assure you that while I may not be the fastest working magician, I'm pretty dedicated.

ShenFyre, great job considering the limitations of the medium. =]

Your support and contribution is greatly valued and I'm sure it'll be worth the wait! So no sweat!

I've had another bash at Choose Healthy Food and Exercise (chse). It's now really stripped down. I realised the original bottom bit, though a stylish way of creating the "e" was actually superfluous as the main "C" and arrow also create an "e". By angling the "f" the top hook becomes the bottom bit of an "h". Simples!

Great! Thanks, Case.

I was in a Motorway Service area yesterday and couldn't help casting my eye over places that would make likely targets for the sigils. Like eye level above the urinals..!

Another visit to a Motorway Service Area today (well, you have to pee somewhere!)

As I passed the KFC obesorama I eyed the man on the sign balefully and thought "Smirk at me while you can matey...!"

Just to keep things on the move , as it were, I assume the two sigils we will hopefully end up with will be displayed as a twin kind of thing ie. two sigils, with an appropriate slogan, as the full hit. People can then go with whatever combo they feel comfortable with.

Yeah?

So, I have time for magic again. I plan to work out the poison sigil tomorrow, and I'll post it when I'm done. =]

Yey,reptilian! I 've been kicking ideas around but I 'm suffering from over complication syndrome, lol.Seriously,I am.

I got some cool stuff out of it,but it's more useful for other work than this kind.I am thinking it best if I stick to dissemination rather than design.
I work somewhere ideal for it as I have access to lots of people [especially young folks] and I work in a food serving area most of the time...as does my old man too,in places of learning and mental development....O ...

Using the sigils in a twin manner does seem the logical option Albion. You want to create the biggest impact and drive it home to push the point and get this to work.

Simple, thus easy to replicate and work with, it stands out - helping get it out there, while being powerful enough to do the job. Looks good to me =D

What do you propose for your delivery mechanism for this eye opening SOI? How are you going to get your message out to all the people of the world so they can see the illusion they have been living their lives under? Yes, you can create a powerful sigil from this SOI, but youre going to need some form of delivery mechanism to show the sigil to the people so it can work upon their subconscious minds and open their eyes to the lies of their consumerist eating habits. Are you going to buy a second of TV air time to flash your sigil on to?

It feels like this project has come perilously near to "losing its mojo" or the junk food gods have hit us with an inertia spell!

Thanks Nahemah for creating a second sigil for us.

It certainly gets my vote too!

But we need to start moving with this again and work on the final part of the strategy. If we are going to get this out there we need other members of the Forum and beyond to get involved, especially those who were posting in the early stages of the project...

It's time to go to work, folks! Whatever you can do to get these sigils out there will be much appreciated.

I've also penned a suggested explanatory note you could send with the sigils where you feel some introduction to what we are trying to do is necessary.

Something Wicked This Way Comes…

Concerned about the rising tide of obesity in the western world a group of magicians have worked together for the purpose of reversing this potentially catastrophic trend.

They have created two magical symbols to achieve this and need our help to get the process working by disseminating them as widely as possible.

“We need people to turn away from the junk food that is killing them. That is the purpose of the first (red and yellow) sigil – REJECT JUNK FOOD! But then they also need to espouse a healthy lifestyle and that is where the second sigil CHOOSE HEALTHY FOOD AND EXERCISE comes into play. They are designed to work on the mind of anyone who looks at them.”

These sigils have been energised by the magicians and all that is needed is for them to be put in public places where as many people as possible will see them and they will quietly do their work. They can be chalked on walls and pavements. They can be inked or printed onto labels then stuck on lamp posts, windows, doors etc. and will be especially effective if that is on the approach to a fast food outlet.

And with global media at our disposal the possibilities of networking this are massive.

They can be used singly if that is more practical, but will be more effective if displayed as a pair. They could even be accompanied by an appropriate slogan to further draw attention to them.

This is, of course, a direct challenge to the egregores of the fast food corporations so there could be interesting times ahead!

“We are not so much setting out to directly destroy these egregores but overwhelm them with a more powerful egregore. If they are destroyed in the process then all well and good but it’s more a question of "jamming the signal " with an equally beguiling signal that offers the road to a healthy life.”

Hopefully, like me, you will be able to support this ambitious initiative by displaying the sigils where you can and by passing this on to other receptive people.

The body is a temple so why bung it full of crap!

Who's doing what here then?

From what I can see this had great enthusiasm and now people have wandered off and got bored! This is a great project and experiment, something to be a part of, get involved in and help push. It cannot and will not work if people just expect it to happen around them!

I will be pushing this out onto G+ this afternoon and seeing if I can get some more people involved and get the word out there. I would apologise if this seems ranty but what other option do I have?

You took the words right out of my mouth, Shenfyre!

Can we crank this up again, folks?

I note the sigils have appeared on Magicalforge's blog but that's all I've detected so far...

Like I said - I've started bugging pagan folk on G+ with it, and been prodding a couple of chaote friends about it too. Not much progress yet though..

Hi All

SERIOUS PERSONAL STUFF has sidetracked me big style for the last three months but now I am back with a vengeance!

Discussing the way forward re the BMP with a magic mate yesterday was topped by watching the TV prog "The Men Who Made Us Fat" on BBC 2 last night and now I am fired up big style. These things are not co-incidences.

So we have got to put some big energy into this!

Maybe that means the creation of a composite sigil which incorporates the two sigils and, significantly, Ellis, to give it the extra oomph!

Stickers on lamp posts are old hat and too small. We've got to use all the cyber channels at our disposal.

We also "leak" it to the press at the appropriate moment so they inadvertantly aid the process.

Comments/suggestions/support please!

I've got myself wrapped up in a few big projects the last week - one of them being starting my own marketing business, oops?

I'll do what I can to get this out through social media and what-not. May be able to sneak it around into my writers based stuff at some point in the not too distant future as well.
