Meditation - Pyrokinetic Training
Meditation - Pyrokinetic Training
Several years ago, back when I was in highschool, I'd stumbled upon a website with techniques for learning how to master the various forms of elemental kinesis. Without knowing the powers I wanted to evoke, I decided to give their techniques a try. I actually had some success with meditating and practicing their techniques, which eventually afforded me the ability to evoke flames from dying embers, though the realization that I couldn't consciously control it caused me to stop all practice and delete the website from my favorites. This was several computers ago, so I have no way of getting back that information now that I'm a bit older and wiser. The first thing it taught me was a breathing technique for meditative purposes, something designed to build your ki over time, most likely through purification. Anyone have any thoughts on this? It would be awesome if someone actually knew the breathing technique itself, as it really helped me focus.

I don't know if this is what you were talking about, but I looked around and found these:

Re: Meditation - Pyrokinetic Training
Its definitely interesting to say the least. The first breathing technique in that Andrew Morressy video looks like what I had practiced but he doesn't exactly give instructions on timing the breathing, nor where to breath from. The first video mentions belly breathing, which would most likely be the case as well but doesn't go into much detail. If I had to venture a guess, the timing on Tiger Breathing is two seconds in, four seconds out. I'll give it a try, if I can actually clear my mind long enough to reach a meditative state that is.
