Rejuvenation

Post by soham »

Lying on bed, scanning the body from toes to crown & back from crown to toes and at the same time silently repeating ' OM CHAITANYA CHAITANYA SWAHA ' is quite effective in rejuvenating oneself.

The most effective way I've found to relax myself is simply to lie flat on my bed and to feel the air enter my body. With the air comes light, filling my body down to my toes. As I breathe in I breathe the light and the air in, as I breathe out I breathe the air and the light out. Then I start tensing and relaxing the muscle groups, starting with my feet and ending with my forehead, all in time with the light and the air. This eventually results in a very strong feeling of relaxation and rejuvenation.

I have a very similar practice I picked up, but instead of letting the light out I hold it in and instead when I breath out I consciously try to expel negativity feelings and sensations. Then at the end, I let the build up of light out all at once. Always leaves me feeling great physically, calm and connected mentally. It also seems to have a physical effect on my body, increasing temperature (sometimes to the point where I break out into a sweat) and odd sensations which I suppose would be energy buildup of some sort? Either way, it was the active effect of these exercises that I started practicing around the beginning of the year that led me to further re-igniting my interest in the occult.

A few years after I learned this one (and I honestly don't remember which book it was, just that it stuck with me), I was watching a documentary about Buddhist monks in Tibet, and apparently they use a very similar technique to stay warm in the cold (they did some scientific tests to examine to increase in temperature iirc, which was pretty fascinating). At the time I had only a passing interest and was just watching it to kill time, but the similar struck me later on.

I think that most people glorify the idea of rejuvenation as something that is ought to push them forward. And though it certainly would hold true in most cases that it is applicable, they are not always going by with the right form to fully affect others.

There are moments by which you think you could benefit most from the idea of rejuvenating in cases that you see it working in order.
