Can I ask you opinions on this video?

I watched this video that someone posted on another forum I'm on:

He seems nice enough, I guess. But it's like...I know some of the things he says aren't true. Some things I don't think are true. Some things I have no idea where he got them from. Really got a whiff of sexism in the last couple of minutes. Errr......I don't know.

Anyway, part of what he was talking about was Satan, Satanism and more specifically LaVeyan Satanism. Me not being a Satanist of any variety, I'm ofcourse at a loss as to some/many/all things on this topic and wanted to ask you...people who are actually Satanists....what your opinions are on what he says in the video. Not all of it is about Satanism, though. Although, he pretty much equates anything occult as Satanic. Wouldn't mind your thoughts on the other things as well, really.

It is a really long video (2 and a half hours long) so I doubt I will be getting many takers, but I fully understand.

Now I'm no Satanist. Hell, I've never even played one on TV. But, I did watch the first 12 minutes of this tripe. Personally I could never take anyone with a haircut like that seriously, and Lord knows there are enough mulletheads running around up here in Canada. Come to think of it the haircut probably explains the sexism you were picking up on too. But yeah, in the first twelve minutes he made it abundantly clear that a]. he's no reformed Satanist; and b]. has very little clue of what he's talking about outside of The Bibble; and even then there was that reference to Paul that he avoided actually nailing down --pardon the pun-- chapter and verse.

I skimmed through it but heard more than enough to know that this guy was never a part of any Satanic group.

He speaks of summoning demons and asking favors of them as well as being introduced to LSD. I think he got together with some former hippies, dropped some acid and had a vision. None of this activity is remotely close to anything a Satanist would do.

We (the collective) don't recruit either.

This guy, in my opinion, has always been a christian and made up a story so people would listen to him speak. His stories are as ridiculous as any of the others they tell in church.

I can tell this man never was part in any real Satanic organisation. If he was really a highpriest in some hoaxsatanic group, so what? If you remember that part when he talks about the well known occult symbols and their meanings... That was obviusly unreal, he doesn't know anything about them at all. Moreover true Satanists never use drugs. I'm not talking about those atheist from the Church. Drugs do very serious damage to the vibration of the astral body and the aura. We mostly use these parts from our soul when it comes to magick, why would we do such things with them?
But back to the symbols: the inverted cross (for an example) is the symbol of the Magnum Opus, when the chakras turn around, and the individual actually joins to the godhood of Duat (you may be call it Hell). But he said something about some "demonic possession". Yeah, right... And when he started to talk about the Sowilo rune (from the ancient germanic alphabet), he did not even know what it is, how should he know its meaning?
