Invocation of something dangerous

Post by ApocPT »

Hello fellow readers, thank you for taking your time reading this.
I have a problem, a huge problem if you may. I'm in a magick cult (more of a group, we are 3), and we can already do pretty advanced stuff... But recently we found out that one person from our friends group had 'summoned' something dangerous, and he made a pact, to trade his soul and become one demon so as it speak.
He already started to play with dangerous forces once, and we could barely stop it, is there something that we can do to help him?

A strong argument for the religion of Christ is this - that offences against Charity are about the only ones which men on their death-beds can be made - not to understand - but to feel - as crime.

Nah, just let him do whatever he wants. If you try stopping him before he (maybe) gets scared himself, he'll just hide it better and go on, or simply tell you all to go to hell and then go on.

Aren't you in the 'blessed be' crowd against tampering with peoples free will anyway? All the excuse you need right there [grin]

I know, and thank you, but I'm getting worried about him, he's really messing with forces that shouldn't be disturbed .

I was (ok, maybe still am) that one that very much messed with everything people told me not to, I probably understand better than anybody what happens if somebody says 'OMG DANGEROUS' before you are done poking at something. Either he'll get scared and stop on his own (and then you can help him) or he is one of those hopeless ones that make a career out of it and then nothing you say will do anything except make it worse, if you keep nagging he'll just stop telling about it.

What are these forces since they worry you so much, anyway? :)

The problem is that he can't go back, 'cause he already trade his soul.
From what I've heard, he summoned some kind of demon .

I think most of this forum did one or both of those at some point, I wouldn't worry too much about either. :)

But lesse, if you want to help you could tell him to read up on theistic satanism or similar, to avoid pissing off demons inadvertedly. For example http://theisticsatanism.com/

Good advice [thumbup]
We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far. The sciences, each straining in its own direction, have hitherto harmed us little; but some day the piecing together of disociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the deadly light into the peace and safety of a new dark age. ~ H.P. Lovecraft

all this trading ones soul buisness how is that even possible a Human cannot exist without a soul ?
Immanuel Kant said the Soul is our conscious mind so how can one give it away and still remain the same ?

And about your Friend you can try praying for him ....
Roman Catholic, of Irish descent.
Betrayed by his God.

Sorry for spelling mistakes but I am German.

You are taking this a bit too literally I think, its usually meant as an allegiance thing. The link I gave has more about this if you are interested :)
