Im a newb but ive been reding this thread and the necromonicon spellbook.
and i have a few questions- what are the benefits of necromancy? and whats the pirce for this? i mean there has to be a price when working with this kind of thing, in witchcraft is the three fold thing but whats the price you have to pay? because i dont feel like one of my family members dying.

I don't think either can cause death to your families, where did you get the idea from? It can happen though if you are doing an evocation with family members standing just outside your circle.
and no, those "pay the price" kind of terms usually comes in movies.
Of course, you work negative and you get negative, it applies to all workings, which is also the basis behind the 3 fold law(just you get it 3 times), its not really a price, its a rule. There may be some traditions or systems of magick which require some thing you need to work for, example, finding rare materials, cutting some part of yourself or allowing an entity to share part of yourself, but those are conditions, you have to even be able to take it or fufill it before you begin.
There are other cases, but generally, i think thats it.

Yes if your family members die as a result of your ritual then you have done something wrong. Go back and reread the directions and try again.
Be aware that Results may vary..............

thank you all for your help and explainig some thing to me but i was wondering can you do stuff (i know im going to sound real sutpid butt) like tuning stuff of and on and reading peoples minds? like "supernatural powers" because i knew some one who could do that(at least thats what i thought and still think) and they told one of my friends he was working on necromany. well im using the most common version of the necromonicon spellbook and i got the idea from my mom one of her friend used to be in this kind of socity that evokes gothea(kablalaa or something like that) spirits i think and all of his family died from some kind of weird desiese or some weird axident. and what do you mean nero "Be aware that Results may vary.............."?

Well when it comes to Necromancy, the necronomicon is not a good source the ancient books of the dead are more your direction. But I dicourage anyone from seeking them out. Me personally I feel that you should be very careful in what you are meddling in Nnecromancy is a mart that has been taken to a very dark place. I ask that you do hat comea natural if u get any odd or freaky fealings it would be wise to stop. Be safe and may the NightMother watch over you.
