I'm looking for info on how to summon something very powerful. A demon.
Any suggestions on names? I shall elaborate further when I am able to get to a computer..
Also, if someone could further explain the concepts of Demonolatry to me, that would help [happy2]

You'd be wanting the Dukante heirachy of demons - its not hard to find online, and differs from the Goetic paradigm that most demon invokers use. As for demonolatry, there's a fair bit of information on the topic online. Avoid the OFS group as much as possible though - they're generational demonolators and they tend to ridicule new people entering the paradigm.

What do you know of the being Azazel? I am thinking I will attempt summoning him, requesting help with musical abilities.

Firstly you need to say its name right. I should ask why you wanna talk to him only for musical talents but I guess it's none of my business. My book says frankincense will work. It's also the only offering listed. Happy hunting!

Starting off with something reeeeeally powerful when you don't have a freakin' clue is just a bad idea; if it even works. Thus the Pokemon comment.
Find yourself a 101 book and start with that.
If you start with something too complex or too powerful chances are that at best nothing will happen, at worst you could have some sort of psychotic episode.

You'd probably have better luck with your guitar down at the Crossroads talking to Old Nick. I believe that to be the more traditional route for people who want what you're after...

He clearly doesn't know anything about the subject.. doesn't want to know, because you can find so much information over the inetz by yourself if your actually devoted and passionate to something.
He just picked one of the most fancies names around and just thought to himself "let's summon zeh demon".

On a more serious note.. none should ever attempt to do such a thing regarding any entity if he doesn't have a real, strong and legitimate reason to do so.

Anyways.. atleast he didn't bring the good o'l "how to summon the succubus to rip me off of my virginity".

Judika Illes Encyclopedia of 5000 spirits demons gods and angels. I've found her other books to be quite reliable even if I don't share her same, shamanistic view, for lack of a better word, on magic.

Ye will need firstly to kill some innocent furry creature and cover yourself in the still warm blood on a stormy night with your favourite music blasting in the background.

This will let the demons know that yer fucking serious and that cute furry things better watch the hell out. (Cute furry things being a symbol for all that ye wish to fear you.)

Secondly ye gotta change your look, your walk, your speach - everything!!! Ye gotta force yourself to shift into the persona you want to be in and hold onto it.
If you cannot do that, why the hell would any god puking demon listen to you?

Thirdly ye gotta practice your music beyong normal human levels - this will take drugs taken in a ritualistic manner - lots of them.

Kill some more animals - maybe feathered ones this time - cover your instrument with it also - this will let the demons know that the shit is way hitting that fan.

Finally when these requisites are met - ye must find a low intelligent human of whatever your sexual preference and seduce them into being your sex slave and
muse.
When she or he is truly under your power and adores you beyond life itself - ye must cast them aside. Broken and shattered in being - with only enough will power left to commit
suicide in a majestically gory way - their death will solidify your commitment to the demons ye wish to sway.

Ritual summoning is nothing to take lightly. If done improperly (or even properly) you can be cursed. Take heed to the energies you expose yourself to, lest they change you. Before you attempt anything, I would recommend a good bit of reading on "the sacred magic of Abramelin the mage" and "the key of Solomon" both, translated by S. Liddell MacGregor Mathers. Other informative texts regarding such ritual practice are the "sixth book of Moses" and the "seventh book of Moses" written by Johann Scheibel (a zealot of religious hierarchy in his time).

Aye aye, captain! Been looking for other source books to read so thanks . And you are newish here so I'm just gonna point this out. There are two distinct types of nuub here. First is me, the guy infatuated with magic, but doesn't know a whole lot. Second are the "let's summon zeh Demon!" People that are absolutely clueless. Some want to call Lilith for obvious reasons, others want super high ranking demon lords for the most idiotic concerns, like music or perhaps a better grade in English.
