looking for a mentor

Post by Durzl77 »

Just like the subject suggests, I'm looking for an experienced mentor/teacher who could take me from being a complete neophyte to being an expert in the "arcane arts" (or whatever you choose to call it). I'm especially interested in goetia, and the "darker" side of it, I mostly just want someone that will teach me about it all not just what they think is good or right.

I'm afraid you probably won't find much luck for finding a mentor online due to not being able to work with you personally and not being able to get to know you as we would in person. Have you checked to see if there is a local OTO group near you? Crowley had some good material about the Goetia and if there were a local OTO group near by, those guys would be able to give you more hands-on training. Good luck.

I've looked in my area for a group for a long time and haven't managed to find anyone (I'm right in the middle of the Bible belt), and I was hoping to overcome the impersonal aspect of being over the internet with skype or something similar if necessary. Thanks for the response though

Dove and Serpent Oasis
A quick search shows Dove and Serpent Oasis in ATL. Also, their main page as a notice about a goetic lecture. There you go [lol]
