Pazuzu - any info?

Hi all,

In my research I am having a very hard time finding much info on the ancient Pazuzu. Beyond a a brief wikipedia explanation. Does anyone have any links with information on the great & terrible Pazuzu.

Beyond the basic background, I'm looking for anything involving invocation or the entities role in any kind of rituals or Mystery Cult/ ancient Religious Rites. ANY help or insight is greatly appreciated & welcome.

PAZUZU is an entity, a spirit to be exact, from the ancient Mesopotamian lands.
Research into ancient Iraq.
According to Wikipedia his father, a spirit as well, HANBI/HANPA is his name, is not very well known. To rephrase my sentence: not much is known of his father, and as for PAZUZU, if this as to do with that entire 'ZOZO' craze, I personally wouldn't invest any energy into it.
If you are however seeking knowledge of PAZUZU for personal spiritual gain, I can only hope that my thread on Meso-Iraki spiritual belief systems and modern lit. on the subject will blossom to be fruitful, and you could hopefully benefit from that.

I read that Pazuzu is the demon of women in child birth. This is most ironic since the pro-Christian movie "The Exorcist" made him out to be a demon who terrorized a 12 year old girl!
