Interested in selling my soul, or making a deal

I am interested in selling my soul, whether it be to satan, or another spiritual force. I intend completely to fulfill my end of the bargain, in exchange for wealth and fame. I will go to any lengths to do the ritual the right way, with the right items, the right words, the right circle, at the right time, in the right place, with the right sigils/symbols. I just need to know which way is the "right" way. which way will work. I will spill my own blood, if necessary. I have done extensive research and these are the commonalities i have discovered.

Wear all black, or a black robe.
Stand inside circle at all times.
Light black candles.
Write a contract on parchment with no loopholes and sign it in blood. Burn the contract after it has been signed/approved by entity.
Use the entity you intend to contact's symbol/sigil.

I have read all/part of the goetic bible. I have read the satanic bible. I understand that Satan may or may not be just a figurehead/representation of darkness. I dont care who makes the deal with me, just that I get what I want, and they do not break their end of the deal. They will receive my soul in exchange. Please help.

Just my take on this, there should be lots of others.. 'selling' ones soul is more done as some sign of dedication for the rest of your life (intended for rest of life, at least), rather than an actual bargain.. or to really break with a christian past once and for all.

If you really believe 'sell soul to Satan = fame and wealth' it might help but probably not in the way you think, it will still be you doing the actual work but since you'd be looking for certain things to happen and be more confident about the outcome, it would be easier to see or use the opportunities you come across. Just to dare to try is no little thing, especially on things that will change your entire life. For example moving to the other side of the country because of some opportunity you spot there, if you don't have any faith in succeeding you'll probably not move at all.

But if you see it like this there is no 'right way' except what you believe is the right way, and why would it be a right way? Because Satan or whatever is powerful enough to change your life, but not understand what you were trying to do unless you said the right things? "Mnaah, not sure what that one is trying to do, this isn't the right weekday for soul selling"? The best you could do then is either make something yourself using what you can find that seems correct (what you are doing now, I believe ) or copy somebody you believe in that actually have done this and been successful. Intent is more important than anything, if you think about what you are really asking for here it is ways to make yourself believe in it.

As for sitting at home and waiting for fame and wealth to fall on top of you for no reason at all: I don't think anything powerful enough to arrange things like that would want your soul, what would they do with it? Its more done as some sign of dedication for the rest of your life (intended for rest of life, at least), rather than actual selling.. or to really break with a christian past once and for all.

Honestly, dear, demons or the Devil don't want your soul. They don't make charm bracelets out of the things.

A lot of the trappings you mentioned could be used, although given the context of the question, it sounds like you cribbed some info from a bunch of bad books, worse blogs, and message boards heavily populated by idiot teenage boys who think they're dark and Satanic because they jack off onto crucifixes in Satan's name -- ah, the mock magical play of the infant LHP adept, like baby tigers gamboling about in a field. /eyeroll

Instead of trying to gain some else’s power second hand, why not develop your own? Maybe you’ll find that you can then command those to whom you wish to sell yourself so cheaply.

Selling your soul to the Devil implies three things:

That you have a soul to sell.
That the Devil is interested in your soul.
That Satan is the Devil.


So let’s look at these three assumptions a little more closely.

1. That you have a soul to sell -
I don’t believe that we are all just given an eternal essence at our formation. Most of us are a drain on existence – we do not contribute anything, we do not try to really better ourselves, and we mostly harm or disrupt the things we come into contact with. So why would any part of us exist eternally? While we are all energy and energy does not die, and many can say this energy is the “soul,” that energy is void of consciousness and personality. I believe that we have to create an individual “soul” if we expect to exist as individual personalities for eternity. This would make us literal “gods” and its the entire point of the LHP. Others within the LHP may have a different opinion about the soul, and you may as well. Point #1 is open to debate, and you should reflect upon this point and come to an intelligent conclusion for yourself.

2. That the Devil is interested in your soul-
If the Devil is so ancient and powerful, why on earth would he be interested in your pathetic, infantile, weak little soul…assuming I’m wrong about #1 and you do indeed have a soul? I buy things that I need and want, as I’m sure you do as well. Why would the Devil need and/or want your soul? Why is your soul so special that the Devil would need/want it? It seems rather arrogant to think that the Devil, who is supposed to be some ancient and nearly all-powerful being, would be personally interested in your shitty little soul.

3. That Satan is the Devil-
In Christian/Jewish belief, the “Devil” is the chief spirit of wickedness and malice. In Christian/Jewish belief, it is not Satan who takes this Office but instead God himself. It isn’t Satan who is going around killing infants and 100,000s of people…its God. So I don’t view Satan as any Devil. Does God want your soul? Not if it doesn’t exist, and if it does exist, why would God want it? Maybe God devours souls or uses them for some other dastardly purpose? Again, if that is the case, then you are assuming that your soul has some value which an all-powerful, ancient God would find interest in. Sheer arrogance. So, either way…you aren’t selling your non-existent soul to Satan or God.

But what about blood pacts and the like? They are outward expressions of an inward allegiance. Ceremonies and rituals must reflect something inside of you. If a ritual does not serve as an outward expression of an inward state of being or change, then the ritual is simply dead. One’s allegiance to Satan is inside, not outside; the outside simply serves to express the inside.
