Tree of Death
Tree of Death
I am actually not a Satanist but a paranormal investigator. We had conducted an investigation of a very old Catholic Church that was nicely tucked away on the top of a mountain. During our time there we found this structure out in the woods a short distance from the Church. It was not a Hunters Camp as I had three hunters with me. I also had a police officer with me who confirmed it was certainly man made and not a weird natural occurrence. The odd thing was how many triangles it made and how the ground just directly around it was beyond soft. You could not walk any closer to it without sinking. I believe this tree to be shaped as some images I seen in your other post. The very interesting and scary part is we had EVP's capturing something saying it was Belphegor and for us to read Codex Codex Codex Gigas. Can I have you guys look at this and some of the pictures we took to get your input. I am only able to upload one image at a time so this picture does not give you the full view.. I wish I had an aerial view grrr. Thanks for any help ya might have to offer.
Re: Tree of Death
Oh as not to offend anyone, the reason I am under the Satanist portion is because
A- I found one of ya's old post that had a simaliar symbol.
B- I was told "Witches practice Satanism up there." which I honestly laughed as Wiccan is totally different from Satanism... Here is the what caught my attention.
Especially with the thing saying it was Belphegor.. Which threw me off since most demons will not give you a name.. Granted he is the demon of Vanity so I guess he wanted attention.

Re: Tree of Death
My first question:
So,did you read the Codex?

Re: Tree of Death
Your post was certainly interesting and I have been thinking about it. There are several points I would like to post. I’m simply putting them out there for your consideration. Others may have more to say.
1) The Codex Gigas
This is a real text and it is nicknamed ‘The Devil’s Book’ although that is less due to content than legends surrounding its origin. It is the largest extent Medieval manuscript so if you are going to look through it (assuming there is a full copy out there) then you’ll need a lot of time.
A reference to this in an EVP is interesting since it is fairly obscure. Assuming controlled circumstances for the acquisition of the EVP (and this is what the EVP says) there are three possibilities here:
a) Something is trying to send you on a wild goose chase.
This assumes the entity has knowledge of this work and either you will waste time and effort to find nothing or there is some ambiguous phrase there that it is hoping will send you farther afield.
b) This is something trying to sound greater than it, in fact, may be.
Beings existing on other levels are not omniscient. This association of the Codex Gigas with the phrase ‘The Devil’s Book’ may have been something it somehow picked up (or was told) and it is using something it knows to be arcane to validate its claims.
c) Maybe there is something there. It would require more investigation.
The Codex Gigas is not primarily a magic text. It is so huge there may be some rites in it, but, the probability that someone used them on that site is very low.
2) Demons & Western Ceremonial Magic
In the standard practices of Magic which one finds in real grimoires (not the Necronomicon) the Demons are evoked into a triangle and kept there. When the operation is done, they are banished. The location pictured and a structure such as this tree has no role in this tradition. At least on a cursory examination, that is probably not what was used on this site.
Now, I don’t know as much about what Satanists do and will leave that to others. But, my suspicion is that even if they did call Belphegor they would not be able to bind him to that spot. An entity of that level is not easy to control, especially if one is not using the Divine Names and Angelic powers as in Ceremonial Magick (or has a powerful will) so I have my doubts he would just hang around.
The outcome of this is that I might suggest that in your investigation you factor in the possibility that this is, thought an entity, something far different and far less than what it is claiming.
3) Kabbalistic Trees
I would also point out that these ‘trees’ and diagrams are artificial constructs. They are designed as a conceptual aid to demonstrate relationships more than actual objects in the way the World Tree is in Norse mythology, for example.
Good luck and please keep us updated!

Maybe they didn't hear what they wanted to hear. I guess this will be another case where we never hear what happened or what they thought.

Re: Tree of Death
Probably so.But,I'd have liked to see more pictures from different angles and so on.That pic above is not very clear and so far it looks like a lightning struck tree to me.Maybe they didn't hear what they wanted to hear. I guess this will be another case where we never hear what happened or what they thought.
That would be another possible reason for ground disruption around the tree also,as a nearby high current lightning strike would cause a voltage gradient in the soil in the immediate area /around the root system.
Meh.
It may also affect electrical equipment used nearby.
And sometimes a little knowledge when mixed with fear, is a dangerous thing. [twisted]The very interesting and scary part is we had EVP's capturing something saying it was Belphegor and for us to read Codex Codex Codex Gigas.
What type of meters were used to record this EVP manifestation? As this is a potentially important consideration too.
I am also a bit confused as to what qualities the Police Officer possessed that made them an authority on trees? A Science Degree, perhaps,or a lifetime living in the Woods/locality or some other reason? It's a bit of a non sequitur/red herring in the story as it is told here, without further clarity being provided.
I also had a police officer with me who confirmed it was certainly man made and not a weird natural occurrence.
