Iblis / Shaytan Worship?

Post by Auberon Arcadia »

I haven't done much research into this as I have yet to find a group on the internet that practices worship/reverance of Shaytan or Iblis, but if such a group were to exist, would the Islamic equivalents of Luciferianism and Satanism differ much from their Christian counterparts? I guess one would have to study the devil from an Islamic perspective and form their own interpretation to find out, but has anyone here looked into this at any length, and if so, what were your findings?

The Yazidi fit the bill for cousins to "Luciferianism" I'd think, not Satanism (though OP seems more about devil worshipping than Satanism anyways). I love the Yazidi, Melek Taus (sp?) is one of the coolest characters out there. I wish II remembered them more often, they always get pushed to the back of my mind as rejects LaVey perverted for his needs.
