I guess I started delving into the occult when I a 3rd year astrophysics student, 4 years ago. I took a Medieval Philosophy class that intrigued me quite a bit, and met a great friend there who introduced me to Astrology. Well being rationalist that I am, took it for a grain of salt.. but the more I "test" it by doing others' detailed horoscopes with a clock and personal interpretation, I continue to be confounded!
That led me into reading into much about the occult, especially High Magick, and the Hermetic Qabalah.
I believe the principle of "as above, so below," so I truly think other galaxies are in fact other worlds each with their own microcosmic physical, astral, and spiritual subsystems. Someday I hope to mathematically figure it all out. Current modern physics is truly INSANE to where it's almost taboo for us to really delve into it; hence a top-down view of our universe is absolutely necessary, which is why I like Qabalah so much.
