It's fine in here. [thumbup]
I'm not sure what you want to know,so I'll assume from the ground up initially.Hope that's ok.
Begin by thinking about the human voice generally...
Vocalisation/Vibration.Waves/Rhythm...
Song magick is all about the vibes. It is used to achieve trance and gnostic states and it is used to empower spells and ritual workings with rhythmic vibrational energies.
Sacred song, sacred music. All cultures have their own types of sacred song and it's all 'enchanting' [thumbup],the world over.
Enchant.

Incantation.

Two important magickal terms.
Rooted in the Latin term cantare:to sing.
Some examples:

Re: 'Song Magick'
Thank you, very helpful :3 However, im looking for more non ritualistic song magick. Such as simply singing words, sounds and frankly ideas to produce a change. Case in point, when I was younger, and lonely I would sing all the loneliness away, asking without really words, more like sounds to find someone to help me. Soon after I would meet someone. Sometimes they became a friend, sometimes a lover, but they would always help me get over a hump in my life, and just up and leave. I am more interested in this kind of magick, and want to understand it more.
Re: 'Song Magick'
I think you just described it perfectly.
A friend of mine was raised in a tradition where any and every magical working was done with song or chant. Music (including words and voice) can reach to our deepest core where our power comes from. Songs evoke feelings within us - sometimes tears, smiles, strength, etc. It can be used to help focus your focus or it can be the focus.
What your last post tells me is that you were drawing on your own power.

Re: 'Song Magick'
I posted the songs above as they are all 'evocative': that is,the songs tell stories and they can carry the listener into the song and produce mental imagery, this connects the listener and the performer and strengthens the energies being raised...

This is a form of singing magick, but it's not the only one.
What you described above is excellent,as Rosered said, you are effectively casting using your technique. It dosen't need to be 'proper words' or make 'orderly sense' to work,as you have discovered for yourself already.
Vocalisation is vibration, vibration is energetic, and you can empower your magickal desires this way. [thumbup]
There are various terms used to describe and categorise singing, think about pitch, for instance:The Templar song is a great example as it's all male voiced and deeply resonant. To me,it evokes battle and sacrifice and suffering [for a higher cause] but IMMV of course.
Sibilance is another term and then there's cadence and so on.
A strong loud voice for strength and will,a soft rhyming chant that builds to a crescendo,or a low hissing vocalisation of gutteral sounds, all are effective,in different ways and there's many more combinations too.
I'm not a musician [though I do I live with a talented singer and multi instrumentalist, lol] but I love to work this way and I'm sorry if I was inadvertantly vague on my first post.
Breathing and singing exercises are ace for expanding your skills and learning breathing techniques is also very helpful. [thumbup]

I love that. Such simple words but they convey so much meaning.and they can carry the listener into the song

Re: 'Song Magick'
I will say both of you have helped immensely. I have noticed I do 'chant' with sounds or a 'made' up language. The 'language' is just poetic nonsense that sounds good, though im sure it has no meaning. I do find it easier for me to start talking none sense and opening my heart, as it were, when I go out walking in a familiar location, sometimes in circles around a store, sometimes a few times around the block, and it slowly turns from words of longing to poetic sounds and 'words' somewhere between I involuntarily start to cry like a little bitch and feel the need to dance, though I never do because I am always in a public setting.
I must confess it use to come almost second nature, though not so much anymore. After my ex faince broke it off with me, I must confess, I tried to sing my back into her heart, but alas I couldnt reach the place where I would would babble in my 'language'. After that I tried to sing my pain, and it worked, I sung and sung for hours, and I slowly felt all the anger and resentment, the pain and the guilt go away, but ever sense then I have found it hard to sing. I have only done it once sense then, and when I did, I sung about the need for money so I could move away, not 10 minutes later a guy honked his horn when I was walking around the Albertsons I was at, walking and circles and singing, and gave me money ($10) and smokes and the guy told me I looked like I needed it. I told him I'm good, and he said he insists.
Thats why I'm so fascinated by song magick, because I seem to have lost, or at least hurt my mojo.

Yeah, uh, you need to be really super careful with that!!!!I have noticed I do 'chant' with sounds or a 'made' up language. Chances are- it's not nonsense but a language all on it's own - especially if it works. Yes, I'm serious.
Whether this language (things we don't understand we call nonsense even if it's not) was carried through your soul or down through your bloodlines - you have access to it. Playing with things we don't understand is a good way to get burnt.
I completely understand heartache and not being able to find the music in your soul. I'm a musician - been there, done that. It royally sux BUT there's a reason for it. In that pain of heartache - we are sometimes willing to do things we normally never would if we were thinking or feeling clearly. Othertimes, it's just a means to show us how far we've fallen and it's a personal choice to decide to put things back together again so that we can once again find the music within our soul.
On the other hand - it could be utter nonsensical noises that mean nothing.

Re: 'Song Magick'
Kinda weird. I tried looking up the sounds/words I make and one is Mulana. It is a title, mostly in Central Asia and in the Indian subcontinent, preceding the name of respected Muslim religious leaders, in particular graduates of religious institutions, e.g. a madrassa or a darul uloom, or scholars who have studied under other Islamic scholars, according to google, and I use that one alot. I also had a dream about a woman that ended up giving someone else in the dream (someone I know) a star and crescent moon and looked right at me and said 'Dont forget this' or something along those lines. The woman was 40-50ish and had a bunch on necklaces/medallions though I cant remember all of them, there was one I remember clearly, a rat skull with a weird feeling about it. The person she gave the necklace to was freaking out, because we where in a farm and when we tried to leave these african american guys where building a trench, though they where really pale and didnt really seem to comprehend what was going on. It started going from day to night real fast and she came out from the side of the trench and the chick (person) was freaking the fuck out, and the elder woman hit her on the head. She just kinda went slack mouthed and stood there while we talked. I dont remember what about, but then she asked the chick what necklace she wanted and she said that one, even though I remember thinking she needed the rat skull. It was a silver crescent moon facing right, with a bright star, like a legit star you see in the sky, when she put the necklace on she said we should, not freaking out anymore. The elder woman looked at me and said something along the lines never forget this or always remember this or something.
The Islam symbol nowadays is a crescent moon facing left with a star. Is there a Goddess of Islam, or something about the region?
