For starters Xdmoqz is pronounced "id - mocks" and is my actual name (Joshua) translated into a language I made up, lol. I believe in being open minded as much as I believe in having a personality, so if I should say something on this forum it doesn't mean that is or is not my personal view (More like it is a personal observation or one of many potential answers/reasonings for a thing that I happen to like best at the time.) This can be summed up as "I know nothing, not even that I know nothing" - Arcesilaus [yay]
I do however have a desire to establish an occult order/school in my area with the aim of teaching a thing or two learned from the many mistakes and experiences gained in my time as a practitioner, as well as to further my own education through this teaching. [wink]
In any case, I look forward to giving/receiving advice on this forum. [smile]
Oh, and yeah I love smilies [rofl]

Re: Simple
So, tell us something about the order you want to establish. Where are you located? And welcome!
Re: Simple
The order is intended to involve things like mnemonics, psychology, or creativity (Philosophy, poetry, drawing, ect...) and is meant to promote a "middle path" of sorts. Most of my understanding is based on what I learned by studying the dream theater or Amun, so they would most likely be included somehow. I'm not particularly fond of "ranks", but a "student" progresses based on their ability to understand a situation and offer multiple outcomes as well as their ability for memory. (This shows they are capable of gaining knowledge and understanding that knowledge, as well as retaining it in the form of wisdom. It also allows the student to determine for themselves when they're ready for advancement, seeing as the test can be given whenever.) Later on it would involve things like occult theory or magic... Going back to the "middle path" remark, a "left hand" and "right hand" approach would also be offered for those wishing to specialize. Hopefully offering all three "paths" allows the order to remain fluid and ever changing [clown]
