I'm a bit torn on my feelings about the subject. Part of me couldn't care less what people on the internet are doing nor if high school metalheads are downloading the book off torrent sites. There are guardians on the path and those of the serpants bloodline will be guided to gnosis. However,it does irritate me, as Tromm pointed out, when those same kids treat it as a rpg or try to use it to look "kewl". Anyone who has read any of the books of these currents knows that it leaves a lot to be studied elsehwere. I generally get the idea that the people downloading the books are not doing any follow up research into the systems. No real way to stop it, save from an emp blast to destroy all the computers lol I try to focus on my own work and not get caught up in what others are doing

I don't spend most of my time pondering on the matter of the current's unexpected rendez-vous with the profane, yet I wanted to share some thoughts on the matter. It's an old thread,originally from OccultForum.com,we hold the archives for the site.

It's fine to get out old threads and update discussion and information on them,but I don't think there are many active members who follow the 218 current here atm.

Perhaps this thread being resurrected will stimulate more posting now.I hope so,it would be interesting to see how things have progressed,is MLO/TOBL still active?

MLO has been renamed Temple Of The Black Light, they are still active and produce books, but the inner circle is complete at the moment so they are not accepting new associates.

They are, as I'm sure you know, very secretive about they actions so no more data on this subject.

I would also like the discussion to develop.

I can't recall anyone from this forum off the top of my head that practices, other than myself. I work far more with the 182, temple of qayin, material but I use a fair amount of the totbl material as well. I have a bunch of the ixaxaar books so I mix it all together.

Have you ever considered scientific arguments supporting chaosophia? I did some reading on the matter and discovered at least three interesting things, namely that reality around us is meticulously organized according to certain mathematical quantities, some of which are:

- the number π (pi) that is not only "the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter, approximately equal to 3.14159", but has also been discovered to be a basis of the proces of growth of many plants and also describes a certain regularity present in the flight route of insects;

- Euler angles that describe regularities that take place in three-dimensional Euclidean space;

- Fibonacci number, a sequence in reference to which, for instance, leaves grow on trees in predictable number and density, also used to describe the phenomenon of waves that was proved correct in the study of sound waves, light waves, and so on.

I'm not a scientist but I tried to describe these things in English the best I can. The thing is - if any of the above mentioned quantities was a little bit different, life on Earth would be impossible.

The same thing is observed in the structure of particles - if any of forces taking place would be a little bit different, atoms could hold together.

It is a certain fact that there is something in the universe around us which favours life over nothingness. What is more, this "force" has to possess a certain kind of intelligence if it is capable of fueling evolution and creating such complicated organisms. Isn't this force what we call god?

I'm unfamiliar with the term Chaosophia but the numbers and such you talk about represent order, ya? As you stated, these things ARE what fall under my label for God, the organizing principles, and patterns, the organic universal machine (without the bad 'machine' hang-ups . )
