incense (should the medicine be bitter)

Post by Desecrated »

I know this is teenager magick but it just peaked my interest today.

Lets say I have 2 different incense, both are for the same purpose.
I find one to smell really strong. And the other one I barely notice.

So should the medicine be bitter or ?

Which one should one use, the one that grabs you completely or the one that sits in the background?

Depends on the purpose. Do you want to wander the spheres or do you still want to have clear mind during the practice? One of the many questions one should keep in mind when planning such operations.
bye bye

I think I'm at a point in my life when I need to be more grounded. But the smell is bothering me even after they've stopped burning. And I don't know if it is a good thing to keep thinking about it after it's done or if I should let it go the same moment as it is done.

Is this one of those things when both answers are right?

Try the strong one when casting and reinforcing your work. Use the weaker one as background when sitting around chilling out to keep the magick moving.

If it's bothering you then it's not the right 'flavor'.
When my wings get tired I grab my broom.

Some of my favorite incense combinations:

Cedar + Amber
Sandalwood + musk
Clove + Lemongrass
Eucalyptus + Sage
Jasmine + Vanilla

I would like to mix Dragon's Blood with something since I use it so often but am not sure what would be good.

Sandalwood + musk [shock]

How many hours does it take before that smell goes away.
