A technique for communicating with spirits

The technique in three steps:

1. Take an empty paper and draw the sigil of the spirit you want to contact. After successful contact you can use that same drawing again. (With elementals I use Bardon’s sigils.)

2. Calm your mind and rest the tips of your dominant hand fingers on the sigil. It is also possible to form connection with two spirits at the same time by using both hands and two sigils.

3. Look away from the sigil or close your eyes and form the intention of communicating through the physical connection to the sigil and through the sigil itself. Think the paper you draw the sigil on as a portal.

Where is the grounding? Where is the invitation? Where is the banishing? I only see a portal opener who opens gate for a random something.

I would not recommend this method. The best policy is to reduce risk, not increase it while pursuing the maximum benefit. It is my opinion that what is given here does not rise to this bar. I think it would be especially potentially troublesome if someone used Google to find the sigils for the demons of the Goetia and used this technique. You mention Bardon, perhaps take another look at his work on Evocation and think about why it is constructed the way it is.

P.S. Here is a bit of synchronicity and probably a direct message for MattiH. I opened the PDF and came to exactly this quote immediately about not following safeguards:
