Thanks for all your replies. Its starting to make more sense now. I was just a bit confused. As I read on in the book, It never says anything about having to be a Christian to be a part of it. I suppose I should have read more before asking that question. Regardless, Im finding the Qabbalah very interesting and something Id like to know more about. I found a cheap copy of Dion Fortune's THE MYSTICAL QABBALAH and plan on reading that next.
So...basically a lot of this is up to my interpretation? In other words, it doesnt matter if Im Christian or not...or any other religion? Keep in mind, Im a complete n00b, so sorry for these type of questions.

You can take a normal deck of cards and do divination, but most people prefer using a tarot deck.savs165 wrote:Thanks for all your replies. Its starting to make more sense now. You can use Kabbalah or Qliphoth just as a meditation technique. Instead of an angel or demon insert you own positive/negative emotions into the sefira.
Build your own later (tree of life) that intersects. Use the symbolism, like 3 pillars to sort those positive things.
BUT. It's not a bad idea to read about it first, because it's a very complex system.

Poke Runyon & Lon Milo Duquette are not Christians and yet they work in these system successfully.

The Qabbalah really weirded me out. I had a book read a chapter before going to sleep, Put it on my nightstand and it was gone the next morning. BTW I live by myself I also cant remember much from the chapter except for it seemd every other sentence was talking about "Lights and Vessels". Anyway Light/Lights is knowledge empowerment /enlightenment, Vessels is basically you the body the soul the container the shell to hold the light. To make a long story short I think that stuff is very real and what I got out of that experience was that I need to work on the vessel (me) before I can get the light (knowledge). needless to say that morning I was freaked the fuck out after i couldnt find the book and never looked into the stuff again.savs165 wrote:Thanks for all your replies.
