Introduction
Hello,
My name is John and I'm 20. I've been lurking these boards for quite awhile now. Over the past two years, my interest in the occult and my own spirituality has grown. I never really had much of a religious or spiritual background as a child. When I was about 16, I became acquainted with The Satanic Bible, which reflected my thoughts at the time, at least for the most part. It opened me up to basic Left Hand Path thought (whatever that means) but as I grew older, certain aspects of LaVey's Satanism no longer suited me and I began to drift away from it. Around 18, I started to become a more spiritual person. I personally don't like to label myself but these days, I look to different schools of thought, including Hermeticism and Thelema. However, I'm not narrowing down the list. Admittedly, my knowledge of these systems isn't as great as others on this board but I'm up for doing the work. As I move forward in my path, I thought it would be a good idea to sign up here. I do intend on sticking around beyond this introductory post but I'm mostly here to learn, in addition to sharing my thoughts on these subjects.
Cheers!

Thanks, everyone!
I would say that most of the main principles of the LHP match my philosophical grounding so yes, I'm still on the LHP. Individualism and anything to advance the self is very crucial to me. However, there are aspects of other systems that interest me as well.Desecrated wrote:Welcome

Re: Introduction
Welcome Welcome! Kick back, relax, have some fun and get to know some people. Boards are a little slow, but people do tend to eventually respond. Everyone here is more than happy to help.
Just don't take anything I say to be real useful when it comes to spiritual work. I'm as fresh to everything as a new born baby.
Again, welcome!

Oh God, what did you put in my drink?

Re: Introduction
Thanks! I'm assuming you're referring to my screen name which I took from a Celtic Frost song. I've actually never seen Game of Thrones.ShubNiggurath wrote:Hello [yay] (most liked smiley)
