We traditionally get Selkies hereabouts and they can cope with the cold fine,being seal men and women,lol,but they only come indoors in human form,though.No tails.

If you are a dude, I might beat your ass and dump you in the nearest lake unless you could quickly convince me to do otherwise. If you are a young, pretty girl, I might be a bit more forgiving. If you woke up in my house and I didn't see you and you got out before I did - nothing.

If I saw you before you woke up I'd be trying to figure out whether to call the police or alternately antique you, post the pics on facebook, and then wake you up and send you out.

If you woke me up you'd have a forearm pressing into your carotid artery, probably an arm or wrist lock to go with that, and you'd need to explain fast what was happening.

In days gone by,it wasn't at all unusual for strangely dressed,often bewildered and reality impaired waifs or strays to turn up in nooks and crannies in my house...Or,indeed for it it be me,waking up in other folk's houses,strangely attired and a little spaced out.

Way I see it,you are no threat anyway,with your tail inhibiting your movements quite a lot and it is my domain,after all.We are quite hospitable over here and I'd prolly get you a cuppa to go with the blankie while you told me what you can recall from the night before.
