A painting of mine

Post by mrlittlegoat »

art is strange and beautiful phenomena. I have only painted a few pieces and have no education or training. This is one of the few qualities that I am proud of.

thanks :)
I had that one (called God's dollfaces) and another one placed in café. They changed owner and all the sudden the paintings was just gone. I guess my kids moved out of the house. The thing is, when I did paint, I was in changed state of mind and there was often a feeling of being watched, like if they were literally hanging out of the canvas. Not a bad feeling, just unexpected for the mundane me.

Incredible brother you got a real talent. You should see if your any good with a tattoo gun. that new school typoe of fantasy painting genre is really sought out for in the tattoo arena. See if you can turn your talent into some cash.

Keep painting. It is an excellent creative outlet. You may want to keep a journal and make entries each time you work on your art. You may be surprised by what is revealed to you.

Nice granular detail. I tend to wonder what you could do with peppers, olives and pickled pimentos in a vase.
You don't have to do a thing perfect, just relentlessly.

If you want to see real talent, then look at this picture made by a very good friend of mine called Larkin.

I tried to find what I was referencing online but only had kinda-sorta luck.

If you look up Sarabella Tuscan Art it's kind of like that but I've seen it to where people make some very interesting geometric designs, faces, etc.. and I'm thinking they're loading the peppers, olives, etc. in a very specific manner to make a picture.

BTW< that is some really sick work immediately above. What was the physical medium of it?

I will try to look it up. Could be interesting :)

He most often use acrylic colors but sometimes he turns to oil. I am not sure of the details in this one. I know he sometimes carves out a background board to get the 3d effect but this painting is huge (and if I remember it correctly, still available to buy). Hope this cover your question

edit... ps... and yes he makes the frames aswell. The dude is a freak of nature and a genius

Incredible! This is obviously a very inspired piece of the sort that I could only hope to create.
