Have you found that some kinds of enchantment give better results than others? If you want something badly, what magical method do you tend to most rely on?

Grant Morrison swears by sigils, but noted that others may not achieve the same results. Others prefer candle burning spells. How about a good, sharp knife and a clay doll? Dancing around in the full moonlight in the buff? Praying to the Great God Bill Murray after a half gallon of beer?

What's your weapon of choice and why?

My favourites are:

- Visualizaion: it's like working with sigils. You imagine the outcome, charge it with strong feelings and then let it go.
Why? It's easy, precise and one can easily use it with a "psychic" paradigm.

- Magical visualization: same as normal visualization, only you use "fantastic" elements to carry out your will: for example servitors. You imagine them, charge them with strong emotions and then let it go.
Why? It's exciting, creative, "magical" and one can easily use it with a purely "magical" paradigm.

- The "WHATEVER!" method: The ultimate chaos magical enchantment. Visualization without giving a shiFt. Like in Taoism or the Law of Attraction.
Why? It's easy and effective when you're tired.

- The Sympathetic method: act like it's already done.
Why? It's easy and effective when you're tired. Plus it's exciting.
