L.S.
Realizing I have not yet posted many topics on this forum, I hope that you will not hold this against me.
I have been busy with some writing on the topic of magic lately, and now I humbly seek your advice...
My writing thusfar mainly deals with the describing and refining my own variety of a system of magic.
It is based around sigil construction, a system of seven elements, three planes of existance, and the divine power of balance.
I have constructed a microcosm, diagrams on the nature of living creatures, and several rituals.
My latest endeavour has been to describe the workings of necromancy, divination, and spellworking according to this system of magic.
But now my question is, what is next to be treated ?
My muse has abandoned me, and I realise that one could fill libraries with what I have not yet thought of,
and I was hoping that you might have some suggestions...
So if you have any ideas, I would be very much obliged!
I thank you in advance,
With the highest regards,
Raphaël

Re: More occult subjects?
I'll apologize now if I've misunderstood your request, but here's my suggestion.
It seems to me that necromancy, divination, and spellworking are very broad terms and that there are various sub categories within each of them. I would recommend that you first attempt to break each one down to find more subjects.
For example, spellworking seems to me to be a overarching term for the practice of magick. There are a lot of different ways to cast the same spell, for instance everyone I know has a different way of casting a get well spell.

Thank you for your reply,
though since I already have developed a system of magic, I also have a system for necromancy, divination and spellworking,
I am merely looking for ideas for other topics...
But, nonetheless, thank you for your reply

Re: More occult subjects?
Alrighty then, what about invocation, evocation, and deities? Perhaps you could look at psychic abilities or astral projection. Sorry if you've already covered these, I'm scraping the bottom of my ideas barrel. Maybe that shows my ignorance.
Lately I've been researching servitors and entity creation, maybe that's something you could write about?
I'd very much like to read about your system once it's completed, if you're willing. One of my magickal passions is learning how others deal with and perform magick.

Thank you for your reply, and I will most certainly use your suggestions!
And also thanks for showing interest in the system of magic I've been working on, I would be happy to send you some info
(though I will have to translate it into English first... )
