Intro to Me
hello everyone, you can call me Jack.
I am what would be considered a Chaote, with interests in folk magic.
i do sigil and servitor work fairly regularly, and have a decent success rate.
i also do a lot of lucid dreaming.
nice to meet you all!

Thank you everyone! good to meet you.
nice to meet you too, Frumens. honestly, my life just ended up blurring into studying magic. there wasn't really a point where i just decided to do it... it just made sense to me. part of it was my experiences with spirits/entities/egregores/godforms/what-have-you that just pushed me into it.

Hi and welcome
what do you use lucid dreaming for? Fun? Getting rid of nightmares? Something else?

i use lucid dreaming for many things: to see my animus, to explore the dreamworld/my subconscious (whichever you believe it is), to fire off sigils, to see my animus again... and of course for fun.

Re: Intro to Me
That sounds interesting [grin] getting to know your inner self, I've never done that for some reason. I could as well try it [crazy]
If you know something about dream interpretation, I would like to hear your point of view concerning that you have had a different path, so different knowledge you might have

Re: Intro to Me
i'm afraid i don't know much of anything about dream interpretation. i frankly had zero interest in symbolism and interpretation until a friend of mine started to interpret my dreams. i found it to be quite accurate, and the process of telling someone my dreams each day helped my recall immensely ( i don't like to keep a dream journal... some of that junk is questionable). but it never really stuck with me. i mostly like to explore my surroundings and the different ways to keep stable while lucid.EternalReturn wrote:That sounds interesting [grin] getting to know your inner self, I've never done that for some reason. That is interesting, you have never kept dream journal? But you did talk about your dreams. Was it often or do you have just good memory of your dreams for as long as you remember?

Re: Intro to Me
yeah i've always had good recall, but it's getting iffy now that i'm working so much i only get 4-6 hours of sleep a night. i wouldn't recommend anyone who is trying to go lucid to not keep a journal, and after talking with my sister (who also goes lucid often) i decided i'm going to start keeping a dream journal starting tomorrow.EternalReturn wrote:That is interesting, you have never kept dream journal? Re: Intro to Me
Journal is great. I've had one but I haven't been regular, and often relied on a good recall. But it's great to read those experiences again [grin]
okay I won't bother you anymore
enjoy your stay

Re: Intro to Me
that bit of subconscious that is in your dreams, depending on your paradigm. it appears as person of the opposite sex. anima is a guy's female self, and an animus is a woman's male self.manofsands wrote:Well Met and Welcome
