Sun is in Leo along with mercury and jupiter AND there is a full moon. these sort of events dont happen all the time. Is anyone else using this opportunity to the fullest???

On Sunday I will be consecrating a set of runes and harvesting and calcinating rosemary within the hours of the sun for maximum 'solar power'.

Unfortunately here where I live the full-moon was 3 days ago, but yes everytime that the moon is full I clean myself with the lunar energy.

I will also be honoring the Sun that day under the name of Lord Surya, from the Sanskrit. If you are able then the optimum time during the day will be in the specific Planetary Hour of the Sun (if that is what you meant, I was unsure). I will be doing a ritual using a yantra. I would point out to you that the same day is the birthday of Lord Krishna, so, there are also additional positive forces at work.

Oh cool. how did that go for you Asurendra? I'm not real familiar with a lot of the eastern paths but its always interesting to learn. Yeah I meant the planetary hours of the sun.

also couldn't do the rosemary because of family things that came up but I was able to consecrate the runes.

It's good to get biofeedback from the other side of things. I felt and even mentioned to my wife that I bet there were big astrological things going on. Only then did she mention the 'super moon'. I didn't concider that much, but with the other conjunctions it feels more... verified. I felt multiple personal paths crest a hill Sunday.

I'm trying to be more astrologically aware of late, familiarizing myself with sun signs and planetary influences and aspects. I noticed something along the lines of 'Cancerians would be lucky on a particular thursday not long gone' and I desperately tried to get a cancerian friend to buy a lottery ticket or SOMETHING but they consistently said no. I resolved to just tell a few acquaintances to maybe tell Cancerians that they know that it might be lucky on that day. I read some where about Cancers aren't very good at gambling and told the Cancerian friend and he asked me how that made sense. I went away to research for an answer for him which kind of came back with more of a 'Cancer's dont LIKE to gamble' and that they would 'Prefer to earn their money/ possessions.

It was just an interesting little sequence of events for me.

I'm not saying that ALL Cancer's are like this because I dont know ALL the astrological influences for ALL Cancers. I am in no way an expert, I am just learning.

Hmm. I'm a cancer. Gambling has never really made sense to me. I will occasionally buy a lottery ticket. I went on a cruise once and got a gambling bug for a day. But once I calculated what went in and what came out... I was back to it not making much sense to me.

Why are all Cancers not alike if born under this influence? The answer is the Nakshatra or Birthstar. In each sign of the Zodiac, which is a nexus of energies, there are 3 constellations or stars behind each sign. They are the source of the energy flowing into that nexus which the Planets grab. So there is an outer ring of Birthstars which is fixed, a middle ring of Constellations and then an inner and moving set of rings which are the Planets. Within each Nakshatra there are also graduations. Further, the influence on the mind is not the Sun sign, it is the Moon. So, you may be a Cancer sun sign but with a moon in Aries so your mentality will be different from a Cancer with a Pieces Moon.

Anyone who knows anything but the basics of astrology has been of a Vedic paradigm. I'll look into your suggestions Asurendra but I have to be honest anytime I get involved with it, anything of a Vedic nature, things dont exactly flow with me.

I will look into them (a little later, I cant atm) but for right now I'll trust in what I'm getting.

I don't quite recall. I worked a 12hr shift and came home to pack for a weekend away. If anything it may have been full of chaos.

But it was Sunday that felt significant in general. Some good, some not so much. Kind of a milestone, crossroads.
