Energy and Exercises

Post by Hookko »

Ok, my question is, is possible to manipulate my body to get better results while I'm doing exercises?
Is not like that I'm searching for shortcuts... I don't want to do less exercises and get bigger results, I just want to know if is possible to manipulate my body structure so I can... let's say... chance my bio-type to develop more muscles or lose weight faster.
So what you guys think about that?

Well, I am not exactly the work-out type, but I know of a rather simple trick. I don't know if you already know it, but lets see:

It is a sort of mindgame, not exactly some secret occult knowledge, but an interesting approach. Is this something you were looking for?

If you are looking to improve fighting strength and some muscle endurance, I would recommend "The Naked Warrior" by Pavel. There are no short cuts, but pushing too hard is the easiest way to set yourself back again and again through injury. Things take time, effort and patience. If it was easy, everyone would have it. It's just the way it is. Try a spell to enhance your determination and will.

No, like I said in the first post I'm not looking for shortcuts, I love my 1 hour of daily exercise, is something more theoretical just to know if is possible.
I'm a 100% aware that nothing can be better to my health than real exercise.
But thanks for the ideas guys, I will read both.

Have you looked into traditional Tai Chi or yoga? Energy work with physical work combined.

Visualization works wonders with physical pursuits. Creating a strong mental image of your goal, and seeing yourself doing it. Do this while exercising, and 'see' yourself embodying the results while you are relaxing.

Visualization isn't exactly an occult practice. Coaches use it in all sports. IMO, as widely used as it is, it's still under appreciated and not well understood. We know that the brain controls your body. We know that when you stub your toe, the pain you 'feel' at the toe isn't at your toe, it's at your brain and your brain tells your toe that it hurts. So you think you feel it there, but you don't. It's in your head. We also know that your body is stronger than you think it is. People under extreme stress can lift a car off their child, but couldn't lift that much weight if they stopped to think about it. It follows that if your mind really embraced the truth that you are capable of more than you think you are now, that your body would indeed be capable of that which your mind accepted to be true. Take your max bench press for example. You can do more than that, but you mentally accept that it is what it is and that gains come slowly. It has long been my theory that an individual hypnotized to see a 200lb bar (that really weighs 400lb) could press it if he normally pressed 200lb. I've never tried it because as much as I believe it, I'm not going to risk hypnotizing someone and trying it. I know it's possible, but I question my skill as a hypnotist. I wouldn't do it with someone who hasn't agreed to it, and if they agree to it they know what's really there and may hold that doubt under hypnosis and get crushed. I know it's do-able, but I don't know how to do it within the ethical boundaries I impose on myself.

I don't remember who said it, but a famous athlete said "The harder I work, the better my genetics get" in response to the idea that great athletes and body builders get it from genetics. I know you can change yourself dramatically through hard work alone. I know your mind is the control mechanism for your body. If you change your mind, you change your body.

You need a big change for your workout plan and diet plan to build more muscles and lose more weight.
Do every exercise in a proper way and spend proper time on each workout. Avoid all those foods that cause to increase the fat level in the body. Do focus on natural and raw foods specially fruits and vegetables to manage your weight.

Yes, a good system of tai chi, chi kung (especially combined with a martial art) or yoga would be a good idea.

A simple meditation I do when I work out, especially during isolation exercises is to become the muscles you're working with.

You are your bicep
live in it
know what it is to be your bicep
now curl

yeah baby lol
