Witches mark???

Post by Briar.Rose »

Hello there! My name is Briar and was wondering if there is any occult significance to the perfect triangle on my cheek. These three moles have been there from birth and I've always been curious as to whether they might be a sign, a witches mark or something like that! I have a feeling it's just a triangle but you never know, it's always worth asking. I had no idea who to ask so I did some searching around and discovered this forum. I hope this topic is relevant to this forum! I've always been drawn to magic and have recently (last year or so) been researching Satanism in its many forms. I meditate regularly and have had a number of OBEs. I hope the picture comes up ok! Thanks for reading.

1) As a general remark, satanism is not generally involved with "magick practice"

2) Welcome to the forum

3) I would be careful with posting pics from myself in public forums where everybody can see them. A magnification of the cheek would have been suficient.

4) Triangles can have any meaning, there is no general dictum to the meaning of a triangle. Though I think it looks nice and might be an eyecatcher I would tend to the simplest explanation: Coincidence. I have a pigment mark on my toe looking like the outline of Berlin from above.

You said your feeling says it is just a triangle. Well, since you bear this mark it probably is best to listen directly to the source. That would be yourself. [grin]

It is just an assumtion but three moles on the chick probably won't have any significant influence on your path if you stick to everyday life routine. However, since you took an interest on the matter, maybe you find something, and if it is only a hypnotic point on your mirror image inducing strange trance states while staring at it.

Ramscha [crazy]
bye bye

^Really, I've yet to meet a Satanist who wasn't a self-proclaimed practitioner of magic of some variety. Even Laveyans use it in the ''ritual psychology'' sense.

But yeah, I'd imagine the mark is a coincidence, unless you have some reason to believe otherwise. Don't put too much thought into the meaning of every little thing, it will just distract you.

Finally I have found you and your triangle birthmark!

I have combed the globe for years and now you have revealed yourself!

The pillars shall come crumbling down now that you have shown yourself!

I wouldn't sweat it Briar. Many people have a wide variety of marks. They will only have the significance you give them. You are pretty girl. savor the beauty of youth while it lasts. Welcome to the forum.

Thankyou all for your kind replies! I thought as much, that generally speaking the marks are coincidental. I have to say I do like them, perhaps I was just being a little vain showing off and asking about them! They mean alot to me of course, they make my face what it is, and I feel I would look completely different without them. Ramscha, you are definitly right about posting my photo, do you know how I can edit the post to change the picture? I'm not the best when it comes to computers. Manofsands, I enjoyed a great hearty laugh reading your post, AHAHA! Just hilarious thanks for your reply :) manonthepath, thankyou for your compliment.

I've been doing a lot of reading throughout the forum and have learned so much about everybody's different paths, different passions and approaches to their crafts. As I'm young I'm still learning and researching and purposefully have very little practical experience, I'm taking my time and strengthening myself before I take further steps along the path.

I hope to share some of my experiences in the future.

x Briar.

Hmm, I suppose the edit button disappeared by now. Just ask one of the admins, Nahemah or Vasta to remove the picture. Problem solved [wink2]

And welcome to the forum if I haven't said that yet.... oh, I see that I have. Anyway I say it again.

bye bye
