What's keeping you busy right now?

I've been quiet around here, and not for lack of interesting topics, I'm just really busy elsewhere.

I thought I'd ask - what's keeping you busy right now?

I finished the first draft of my novel a couple of days ago, it's the fourth completed novel I've written but first to go through to publication (hopefully early November). I have marketing and editing clients, businesses to build and run, blogs to write, editing and writing my novels, reading and reviewing books for one of my blogs, and I think I've forgotten stuff lol. There's so much going on.

Learning wordpress, css, php, java and meeting people and trying to make myself a great jumping board to dive into the ocean of working and responsibillity long term [grin]

Finishing up my divorce, moving 1,000 miles home to take care of my Mom who just went through a cancer ordeal, selling her house and buying another 500 miles away. I've been busy. I ain't done yet.

@EternalReturn You have far more patience than me! I have basic wordpress down, and the very barest bones of html and that's it. I cannot stand trying to code, it's so persnickety and picky! lol

@RoseRed Ouch I wish you the best of luck with it all. I get the move thing, I moved from England to The Czech Republic 3 days after ending my long-term relationship and leaving everything I knew.

Oh in my case it's not patience I'm not patient with these things, that is why I'm learning it thoroughly. I want them to behave like I imagined
Pickiness and persnickeryness are just an illusion [grin] whey you really dive into coding, it's more like Lego [yay]

I swear there's a little gremlin or something out there which pokes at any code I try to do which is more advanced than a basic link, then it laughs hysterically at me lol.

Maybe you just forget the semicolon or to close a tag. It's same feeling hahah [crazy]

It's always a missing or extra space, or something small which takes me hours to find lol. I give up, I leave it to people like you

Work. Work, work, work. I also just finished my uni exams, while working. So that's been it. Kind of sad.

Culinary School full time, working in a kitchen part time, and taking care of my five year old in between all of that. Yes no time for anything....

Who says I'm busy? I'm just private. [wink]

I'm actually planning to sit down and write my first novel starting next month, but I'm still a little lost when it comes to publishing one. Here's to hoping you had some success with yours.

Learning the fine points of accounting and ERP systems, 3-way match, vendor master tables, and how to help vendors who wonder why their bills aren't being paid find the particular buyer or approver who either asked me to reject their bill or whose been sitting on the approval of that bill for a month and a half (or undefunding purchase orders which then leads to a sometimes month-long wait for a new requisition to pass all the approval levels!) . When I'm not doing that or my three days a week martial arts I'm usually studying all things esoteric.

Taking care of my 3 month yr old daughter during the day, and going to school at night for my I.T. admin degree. Also currently working on Dust in the wind, and prelude in D by Bach on the guitar. My daughter always loves hearing me practice so that helps.
