Hello all!
I have been on this forum a few days and have asked many questions about time travel and the occult theories behind it. I am aware that it is impossible for humans to objectively change the past, but can gods do it?
I'm asking this in the help forum because there are several deities who, according to my UPG's with them don't like me very much. What if they try to change the past to ruin my life or make it so I was never born or something along those lines.
Is there any way I could know if this happened? Do deities general not go out of there ways to do this?
I also have godform I am aligned with. How would they affect this if it were to happen?
Sorry if this is considered kind of a dumb question. As a disclaimer, I guess I should state that I'm a beginning occultist.

I've answered this question a few times.

Re: Can Gods Change the Past?
I don't want to get too deep into my personal life, but I suffer from anxiety and when I get ideas about things like this happening, I get worried. I've been pretty stressed lately and haven't been able to find time to meditate so that hasn't helped much either. I guess I just want to make sure that I'm safe and won't cease to exist at any given moment.magari wrote:I've answered this question a few times.

No. Absolutely and definitively no.
I'm going to be blunt, if you're suffering some kind of existential anxiety to the degree that you need reassurance that you aren't going to suddenly stop existing at any random moment, you need to seek help from a mental health professional. ASAP. You're obviously unwell and leaving it untreated will only make it worse, seeing a psychiatrist/psychologist/therapist might help you get to the root of this anxiety and remove it from your life.

Thanks for the concern. I actually have been seen a psychologist for about 11 years, though. I intend to bring this up the next time I see him.Rin wrote:No. Absolutely and definitively no.

I don't want to be unpolite but I would advice to refrain from the practice until you get a stable mental stand, meaning that you don't need any dulling medication to keep your mental balance or are under treatment for something like your anxiety. The practice is mentally as well as often physically exhausting and often it is not easy what we are doing. A certain degree of mental stability is a must if you don't want to ruin yourself over short time. You wouldn't be the first to end up crazy or wrecked up over this.

Re: Can Gods Change the Past?
Yes, but it is highly unlikely that they will, for numerous reasons. Most Gods themselves live a 4d existence, from my contact with them, meaning that they are not limited to being stuck within a single stream of time as we humans are.
Even in our own universe we can ourselves experience time running at different speeds, so this isn't a huge leap of logic if you haven't confirmed this yourself with travelling experience.
In my own tradition there are only a few Gods that are actually capable of reordering time within our universe, even with the above considered, and since that they are invested in our universe moving forward, I can't see them undoing all that work.
You have far more important things to be concerned about in other words.
