A binding poppet question

Post by silverfirefly »

When creating a (paper) poppet to represent the person you want to bind (from doing harm to another), if you're unable to obtain a photo or a personal item from that person, would just writing their name on the poppet be enough?

TIA

It's not optimal, but yes if it works for you, it works.

Not really, you need some kind of object link from them for it to be truly effective. Especially at the level of skill it seems you are at. Directing the required energy otherwise would be very difficult.

It shouldn't be hard to obtain something that can be used to link it with them. Also the poppet is much better made out of clay, than paper, you can do so much more with it.

Don't take the easy way out or it won't work.

Paper? Is this a short term binding?
