Anyone Had Any Dealings With Wierus Occult Antiques?

I was wondering if anyone on this site, or even anyone you may know who is not on this site, has ever had dealings with Wierus Occult Antiques

I found a grimoire on the Wierus Occult Antiques site that I have always wanted to own. It isn’t cheap, so I have patiently saved up my shekels while living under self-imposed austerity and a tight budget for quite some time now. Now that I am in a position to purchase it, I am faced with an apparent new problem. I don’t even know if the Wierus Occult Antiques site exists anymore in any way except virtually. Although I put in an order form (with an automated message responding that someone there would get back to me as quickly as possible), I have heard absolutely nothing from Wierus. (The order form did not ask for credit card or any banking information; all it said once I filled it out and clicked on it was that someone at the site would get back to me "as quickly as possible".)

Have any of you, or anyone you know of, ever ordered books from this source? The website is still up; would you or anyone you know happen to know if the Wierus Occult Antiques is still active? Or if it has gone out of business? And the website sitting like a vacant storefront?

I have spent many hours online trying to discover if Wierus Occult Antiques is still active or not, but have come up empty.

You have my permission to forward this message anywhere and to anyone if you think that they might be able to help me, whether or not they have had direct dealings with Wierus Occult Antiques. I would greatly appreciate any help anyone could kindly give me in this regard. I have been a student of the European grimoires for over 40 years, contenting myself thus far with just scans and reproductions of them, so I would be terribly disappointed if I missed the opportunity to get the one I always wanted. But either way, I need to know.

Yeah, I'd definitely agree with Desecrated here - they're saying that they have what basically amounts to a museum collection of rare books, all original and all in surprisingly good condition. I personally wouldn't buy such things off the net. If anything, some of those books appear to be going for less than they are worth, which rings alarm bells for me. If you really want to buy a book from them, ensure that you meet up with them and get a chance to look through the book first. I'm not saying that this is a fraudulent site, but I don't want to see you get conned.

Some additional information, which you may wish to consider.

I asked a rare book dealer about the Wierus site, and he had never heard of them. I would trust this person myself in regards to the market, and the fact that he has never heard of Wierus Occult Antiques speaks volumes. I've also done an extensive search of the net for information, and for reviews of the company, and found absolutely nothing. I've also found absolutely nothing on eBay concerning past auctions, and the only material being sold related to Wierus Occult Antiques is being done so through third party sellers.

Take this advice if you wish, I am no way as experienced in the subject matter as you obviously are, but I personally smell a great big rat here. [grr]
