Books/PDFs on Elemental Magick ?

Post by Milembarr »

The title says it all really. I'm looking for books of a beginner or maybe a beginner-intermediate level concerning the Western Elemental Magick side of things or some European Elemental Information(If this is a separate thing?). Shinchi gave me some very good PDFs before on my previous Thread which I believe I have grasped the concepts of (if anyone wants to look at them too they are the second last post on "Resonance with certain elemental Magicks".)

Thanks in advance :)

Alrighty then, check these out, if it pleases you to do so...

1. A comparison of systems in regards to elemental magick:
http://occult-advances.org/elements.shtml

2. The Western Mystery Tradition's take on such things:
http://www.amazon.com/Practical-Element ... 190529719X

3. A sort of witchy view:
http://www.witchipedia.com/table:elemen ... spondences

4. And a quick guide to Ceremonial magick, if you don't want to buy the book above: http://hubpages.com/hub/fiveelements

Hope that helps. Sorry if I'm just repeating things you already know. [grin]

I'm planning to write an updated and digital version of my Elementals series in the next few months. I'll offer free review copies here for anyone who wants to review on Amazon.

The series at present:

Hi Jaq,

That sounds like a great idea. Please use the following guide if you wish to share your material:

1. If you wish to share sections from your books, please post on the Occult Fiction board
2. If you wish people to review your books, please post on the Text board
3. If you wish to post links to where other people can purchase copies of your books, please post on the Bazaar board

I've read most of your books now, and really enjoyed every one of them.

Thanks for the guidelines, I'll be sure to follow them. One question though, if a book is non-fiction, would posted samples still go in the fiction board?
Secondly, apologies if this looks like spamming, that isn't my intent.

Very good question. Let me think about this and I'll get back to you.

It doesn't look like spamming, my comments were simply intended to help you know where to post future material. I apologise if they came across as suggesting that you were spamming the forum. [grin]

Hi Jaq,

I have changed the Forum Rules in regards to where to post books and book-related material. New rules have been added to the Forum Rules, and now read as follows:
BOOKS

1. To share sections from your fictional books, please post on the Occult Fiction board. To share sections from your non-fictional books, please post on the Text board.
2. If you wish people to review your books, please post on the General art board.
3. To post links to where other people can purchase copies of your books, please post on the Bazaar board
4. To use a reference from a book to support your argument in a thread, please post a link to the specific information, not just the whole book itself.
5. To post links to other peoples books, where those books could be considered to be reputable tools for learning magick, please post on the Learning Tools and Resources board. You can also post information about other peoples occult themed books on the Text board.

REMEMBER: All material posted on this forum must comply with the Forum Rules and Terms and Conditions.

Some particularly useful information in thel inks posted, Clockwork :) useful for both new as well as those experienced in other fields. Something for me to do when next I have an inclination to do so ^w^
Creation is our gift, yet we seek only destruction. We have the ability to achieve greatness and mold our very existence into that which we desire- only to writhe in our perceived notions of existence and preconceived limitations set forth by our predecessors. Let us go forth together and create something wondrous and unique~

Thanks. :)

All clear now. I'll have to find time to peruse some of those sections.

Hi jaq!

Is it too late to get review copies of your books? Very interested and more than happy to do Amazon reviews.
