Dagger, wand or fingers
Been working the LBR from Regardies Golden Dawn for a few days. He says to use a dagger of steel. Is this necessary? I've heard of others just using two fingers held together and others using wands.
Which do you use and why?

Yes following that system you have to use what he says.
But many chaos magician or free practitioners often just use their fingers.

Re: Dagger, wand or fingers
I found it worked without any props, but it's quite possible that they would improve the result.

'The Path of Illumination'
he who gives himself to this path
is like a block of wood
that gives itself to the chisel-
cut by cut it is honed to perfection"

Thanks. So for free practicioners, would that be someone without a formal membership that is piecing things together themselves?Desecrated wrote:Yes following that system you have to use what he says.

Do you do the LBR? What do you use and why?
Thanks in advance.

Yeah, somebody who is trying to piece together a routine for themselves using many different sources.Hiramsmith wrote:Thanks. Right now, I'm just using my fingers, because I haven't found an object that I really connect to. I've tried a couple of different knives and wands but they all feel to light and flimsy. I'm stronger then the objects so I keep using myself.

Unless it's been consecrated it's just a tool instead of an astral/spiritual tool.
It's an individual thing. Many people don't require it even though they love it. And they use it because they do. Some people require the use of spiritual tools. There is no one right answer to this.

Re: Dagger, wand or fingers
That's going to depend on whether it's consecrated to a purpose or a God.
