Is there any magick about controlling electricity?

My next question. (a bit of background). During times of intense emotional situations or deep subconscious freedom such as extreme focus on something I've seen had the power blink and transformers explode around me.

BTW, subconscious freedom are those moments when your aren't blocking your subconsciousness and you suddenly remember things. Like asking yourself, "What was the name of that song again?" Then you try hard to remember it but can't, and then when you stop trying to consciously remember, all of a sudden you remember the name of the song.

Anyway, I'm doing a training that exercises this ability so I'm basically training how to use it actively, not passively. I haven't mastered using it yet, but at the moment I'm aware of the shift in my mind when it occurs. It has a particular feeling.

Sometimes I've sensed that shift then all of a sudden the power goes out around me. A light bulb will blow out, etc. It's not something that happens super regularly, but I don't think it's a random occurrence due to me feeling that mind shift right before it happens, or it happening when I'm in moments of intense rage. Doesn't happen every time I get mad either.

I thought about cultivating the ability so I could reach a point of being able to use it at will since I've pinpointed the general mind-states when it occurs, but what would be the point of that? That's not anything but destructive. My question is, is there some sort of magick knowledge that you're aware of that explains something like this?

Electrical interference is a fairly common side effect of intensive energy work - plenty of people have had the experience of their personal energy field causing problems with electrical appliances around them (or vice versa, which is why some teachers recommend practicing with as few electrical devices around you as possible). Likewise, there are masters who can use their own energy to generate tangible charges of power similar to electricity (it presents differently to regular electricity on a voltmeter iirc, but can be used to eg. light a lightbulb), but as you've noted, it's a pretty useless ability.

As for your case specifically - if whatever you're doing while meditating is regularly influencing devices around you unintentionally, I'd have to say you should probably be treading carefully. It generally takes a fair bit of oomph to start causing electrical problems, which means that, assuming you actually are the cause of the electrical problems and it isn't just coincidence, you're probably moving around a fair bit of energy (and this isn't necessarily a good thing)- the problem being that you don't seem to know where this energy is coming from, what it's nature is, and what it's doing. The energy body has some fairly delicate processes which shouldn't be tinkered with without being thoroughly aware of what you're doing, ideally under personal guidance.

So it's the personal energy field. That's great. I believe there is something that cover's this in one of the future IIH practical steps. I'll double check, but everything should be revealed to me then.

The stuff with the subconsciousness is actually a super learning system I'm working with called Zox Pro Brain training. It's not overtly spoken of as magick. There are exercises involving going into alpha brainwave states though which are meditation equivalents. But, I've never had the electrical issues during the training. It's more occurrences outside where I'm going through my day to day life. I've just become more aware of what's happening in my mind since doing this and starting IIH. So being aware of my mind I see what state it's in when these things happen.

Not necessarily - and again, extra energy isn't always a good thing, especially when you're starting out.

If the electrical problems don't correlate directly to some kind of energetic practice, then I'd guess it's probably just a coincidence, or confirmation bias.

While personal energy fields can impact others, it goes without saying they can be receptive too. It's like a sense, except that we can't tell yet whether it is independent, or working in association with the established 5, or just a result of the established 5 senses. Being able to sense a shift just before something happening.. we don't know how that works entirely.

It's similar to auditory pressure. For example a set of computer speakers that aren't playing any music at the moment, but emitting a low hum due to voltage differences. Most people wouldn't notice the hum especially if they aren't told that it shouldn't be there. But if you turn the power off, the hum disappears and the pressure of the vicinity decreases and you can immediately feel it. While that example isn't premonitory, it's an example of how the senses work towards sensing electricity.

When you are starting with energy work it tends to lack control. Meaning it goes a little bit everywhere. Electricity is especially good at finding ways to connect to other sources of electricity so one should always have to be careful. It's cool when you can snuff out a lightbulb without touching it, It's less cool when the electric current in that lightbulb jumps into you.

The way most people deal with this are proper grounding exercises and also aura strengthening. There should be ton of material on this on the internet.

So the possible explanations are: Coincidence, intense uncontrolled energy field, or that I'm just sensing something that would happen with or without me being there.

I doubt it's a coincidence since they line up with specific mental states/feelings, and it's happened in these states more than a few times. Whenever I can pinpoint a consistency I tend to rule out randomness because the odds are too astronomical.

The subconscious training stuff isn't a magick energy system. So it's not a thing which should have a direct cause in this. I just mentioned it because it's what's given me more awareness of my mind-states.

I haven't done any energy work to my knowledge. I actually don't know how that functions yet, and don't want to know. It's a lesson covered in the IIH later and I'll get to it when I'm ready for it.

That seems to be the answer. I'll discover if it's me with an intense energy field or me just sensing natural occurrences when I start that portion of my training.

As long as you are alive you are producing energy, and everytime you think you are using energy. When you start unlocking things in your subconsciousness it has effect on your surroundings as well.
When people start to meditate they often remove mental blocks they themselves have created around previous emotional problems. and these can then resurface in all sorts of weird fucking manifestations.

If you are doing something new, and it is causing something new, it's safe to assume that your new doings are partially responsible for what is happening. And it's probably a good idea to tone it down a little, OR try to focus it more into a specific place.

Concentration of energy or energetic fields produced by practitioners can take many different forms and be translated in a few ways. Ionically (or electrically) is a more common means, though there are others, such as thermal, vibrational, etc. All it is is a form of release of energy in a more physical means, like an aura spill-over.
The more practice you have in energy work and control over your energy/energetic body, the less output interference you'll emit as you'll be able to exercise more control.

I've had a sorts of similar experiences with my smartphone. Once during my meditations it opened the tarot app itself and drew a card, the card was the First Arcana - The Magician. Man, that was spooky. Second time it was during an invocation ritual. My phone went all crazy. I touched the top of the screen it opened an app from the lower part of the screen, opened a few apps at once and some crazy stuff.
I often open an image of a dzogchen A and meditate on it. I put my the phone to turn off the screen after 30 minutes. Once when I was able to reach a very high concentration state, as 30 mins passed ,the lights went down a bit so that the screen should completely turn off after a few seconds, but it didn't.
But nothing dangerous happened so far.

You can alter electrical energy with your own metaphysical energy, but it isn't as easy to do as it might sound (intentionally, rather.)

Electricity itself is really freaking weird, and especially when you start moving up to electronics like microprocessors, there's a lot of subtle things going on that are pretty close to un-knowable, at least with any level of skill I or any I know have/has obtained.

Stopping an electrical flow is one of the easiest things you can attempt. From there, you really need to know the physical layout and general structure of the device you're working with.


A good way of looking at this is with occult anatomy and energy work. You can't heal your organs if you don't know where they're at. You can flood your whole body with light and you'll only barely be scratching the surface until you do a spot treatment directly to the affected areas. The same thing applies with computers and other electrical devices.
At a certain complexity, electrical devices gain a kind of life of their own, even without any input from a magician.
You need to know how their "organs" work to have any real, measurable effect of the results of your work.


I'm still quite fresh on my path of utilizing technology properly in my craft, but I can say with certainty that intent alone is not always powerful enough to have an effect.

Stopping an electrical flow is one of the easiest things you can attempt. From there, you really need to know the physical layout and general structure of the device you're working with.

Like walking up to an appliance and unplugging it!

This made me think of something way more subtle though. Imagine you're doing a file transfer from a laptop to a phone and it's going real slow. Sometimes, even glaring at the laptop helps. Some people resort to shouting or name-calling, but hey.

I do not know of any practices besides electrokinesis and turning psi-balls into electricity.

All I do is remember what it feels like to have electricity flowing through my finger and into my hand,
I remember when I was little - I stuck my finger in an electrical bulb outlet and it didn't hurt, all I felt was a very strong tingling or vibration; the same kind of feeling you get when your hand falls asleep... but stronger.

So I sensitize my hands through back and forth motions until I can feel a tingling sensation and then focus on it, I try to "feel" as though that vibration is getting bigger and stronger... until both my hands are vibrating at the same rate as electricity.

After that, I project that vibration outside and around my hands by visualizing tiny silver dots in the air and attach the feeling as if those tiny silvery particals were being attracted to my hands and zapping into my skin and back into my hands.

Lastly, I try to hear them crackle and pop.

The best way to test to see if you gotten this technique down, is to be near a TV with poor reception, or a TV that is susceptible to electrical presence.

Practice this method around such a TV and you should be able to cut the reception off the tv.

This is the only way I know how to do what you are asking about.

The heart of this power is to just simply remember what a force field felt like, vividly, and then focus on keeping it alive, and of course you need "substance" - you need to breath in through your nose and out of your mouth.

I know what you mean by subconscious power,
I had few moments in time where I did things that should not have been able to be possible, for example - one time I woke up angry and full of hate and I was looking at my pillow and it was locked into my vision somehow - and moved with my eyes where ever I looked, this state of mind felt weird, but then after like 3 seconds I fell back asleep.

On another occasion, I was full of hate that I could feel it in my chest and emanating outwards.

It was cold and very serious energy coming from my heart waves.

I was full of hate because my cousin was doing his gf in the bathroom next to the room where my lil bro sleeps and I just couldn't handle not saying anything, I guess I just wanted to build up to feeling that hate, and idk why, but anyways - because of the ignorance of my cousin and his dumb girlfriends actions, I was feeling coherent hatred, and whenever I had the intent to touch my androids touch screen - somehow the phone reacted as if I had touched it.

This only happened while I was experiencing full blown hatred,
The electrical interference ceased the moment all the hatred left my chest.

So yeah...
