How should I cast?

Ambiguous title, I apologize.

I need to obtain a specific something from a specific person, and I'm not sure what kind of spell I should use to get my results.

I could cast a simple sigil, or construct an elaborate ceremony. I could use left-over matter from an object I have of theirs to do some type of binding.
I could simply will it until my eyes and ears bleed, with no outside tools or castings.


What do you guys thing would be best for this? As I said, I need to get something from someone. I know this person has what I need, and I can gain a link to them in more ways than one. I have a lot of options here.


Most of my spells like this involve pure energy-work, and are performed on someone in my immediate vicinity, at that immediate time. I have no experience trying to perform a low spell like this.

Any assistance or ideas would be appreciated. I care what you guys have to offer me.

This is the first time I've wished this site had a 'Like' button.


Sigils are no issue, but mine tend to burn out very quickly. If I don't obtain what I need in the given time, I'd need to craft a new one and do another charging.

Just trying to talk through my options and see what's best, to avoid any extra work. I've played around with trial and error enough, and I've found what works, I just have yet to measure these things against one another.

"Abundance" related intent is good to roll with. That could prove a useful aspect in any type of sympathetic spell, or ceremony.


Sometimes you have too many tools for the job, and it comes to a point where you need to question the best one to use, and see what others you can do without.

I've had good results with sympathetic magic for this, especially using skull candles. It's not hard to get into people's heads with magic, but breaking down their resistance is harder if your request isn't something they wanted to do in the first place. Not impossible though.

You could wait til' they are asleep and use your mind and heart waves to implant & influence them to feel a certain way to help you get what you are after,
You can use any linking/binding method.

What I'm gathering is that I'll probably need a decent amount of time and will to perform this effectively, and bigger would be better, in this particular case.

Intent over a long period of time, rather than all at once and in perfect gnosis.

There's tons of ways to do this kind of thing. Does it matter what you do as long as it works? If you're most skilled at Sigil Magick, then just use Sigil Magick.

Focus on your "specific person" as the Target of the spell.

Charge the spell using your conventional means.
