My Very First Tarot Deck !

So guys today my very first Tarot Deck just arrived. [yay] [yay] [yay]

I opened the box there is a book and the cards. I plan on doing the Consecration Ritual and only then open the cards itself so that I do some more ritual work with the cards.
I would like to know if you have any tips and advice for me? For tarot in general and with this deck specifically.

The Tarot is written all over my tree of life diagram I have taped to my BR door. I don't have the cards though, maybe they are not for me.

If you're looking into the meditative side of this a very good book to pick up is Robert Wang's Qabalistic Tarot. He did an excellent job of packing a lot of great information into maybe 320 pages, almost like a lite version of Gareth Knight's Practical Guide to Qabalistic Symbolism in a lot of ways.

Hi I am not familiar with your particular tarot deck very well, it depends on what you want to do with the tarot.
As a form of divination, i find that it is necessary to learn Qabalah, and knowledge of astrology in relation to the tarot will be a blessing. I have the Crowley deck, termed as the only serious deck for Hermeticism. Tarot rituals are great, but you should study the use of tarot in Qabalah, but doing that will mean you begin study of Qabalah, the benefits of which i'm sure you've heard. Good luck!

This deck is the official modern Golden Dawn deck. So hermeticism and quabalah.

And here comes my favorite part in the occult. You want to practice this here is a book for that. And here are some other 100 books to understand that book
Fortunately there is an awesome book with the cards that deals with Qabalah basics and astrology basics, so that anyone can do working with the cards.
