A tremendous book, not unfamiliar to the occult world.
Why was the Book of Enoch not included in the Canon, used by mainstream Christianity?
Here is my opinion on the matter.
The book of Enoch was the first book of prophecy given to man. And in fact, not all of it was directed at man. The pre-flood world was a mysterious, bizarre, yet wicked place and time. I firmly believe that the "sons of God" (angels) lusted for the daughters of men, who bare their offspring. These offspring (also known as Nephilim) were terrible creatures, and threatened to wipe out humanity. This was the reason for the flood; not to destroy humanity, but to save it. Noah was an upright man, and was "perfect in his generations", meaning his lineage was 100% human, not mixed with the Nephilim. This "nephilim gene" was, however, carried into the post-flood world by one of Noah's son's wives, most likely Ham. This is the origin of the giants in the Old Testament era.
Back on track, the book of Enoch was written for pre-flood man. The Bible is for us, post-flood man.
The Book of Enoch warns of the impending Deluge, referring to the Flood, and not the final Judgement of Fire.
The Book of Enoch also contains Enoch's journey through Hell and Paradise. Paradise has since been removed from the heart of the earth, where now only Hell is.
I do believe it was not intended for Enoch's book to be included in the Canon for modern man, however I also believe that it's prophecy is still of importance, even today. It gives us an understanding of the pre-flood world, the Nephilim, the angels, and more.
It's interesting to me that the first verse in Enoch, (which some claim were the first words ever written by man), pertain to the final judgement of the world.
The words of the blessing of Enoch, wherewith he blessed the elect and righteous, who will be living in the day of tribulation, when all the wicked and godless are to be removed.

Re: The book of Enoch
It was written too late to be part of the Jewish bible, and too early to be part of the christian literature.Yeshai wrote:
