Ideas on how to connect w a long distance partner/lover?

Crazy, crazy question! I know. But I thought I'd throw it out there and see if anything comes back. And no on astral projection, we both feel we don't have the skills or knowledge to even begin to attempt that. The thought of getting tied up with a demon or evil spirit - not going to happen regardless of silver cords and circles of protection. The thought is too scary.

But, my partner is 3,000 miles away and yea, we can connect via technology (Skype, etc) but we want to see if we can try something more 'magickal' I guess. To try connecting on a more spiritual level.

Any ideas? Any suggestions on what topics to look into? Has anybody attempted and successfully done such a feat?

These things should work for y'all because the best time to practice magick - is when you're in love.

Stare into her eyes for ten solid minutes. Not only is it scientifically proven to do crazy stuff with your brain I did it with my girlfriend and we formed a psychic link. Ever since then we've shared certain dreams and had similar emotions/illnesses occur at the exact same time.

I admit this happened to me too except I did it with her portrait. She had a ward on to block some stuff and when she lost it I experienced it. I used no ward so it went one-wayish.

You can't hide when you do this. Thoughts of suicide will cause an embarrassing situation and a ton of problems as I unfortunately discovered. On the plus side honesty is forced rather than given.
