What are the benefits of staring at a pentacle?

Post by Blazekilla900 »

The pentacle is supposed to be a holy shape, so are there benefits to staring at it for a long period of time? Thanks.

It's easier to train your concentration if you have something to concentrate on.

There really is no benefit to just stare at something. But focusing on it, meditating on it, projecting your consciousness into it may give you your own personal insight into the mysteries of the pentacle and maybe it will reach out to you so that you can charge it or do something else with it.

Fixing one's gaze on an object can help stimulate trance states.

This is only one of several methods of trance inducement.

I have a spinner disc pentagram I use sometimes, but I also like to fix my gaze onto static shapes and images sometimes.

It helps with focus and stillness also, of course.
