Is there any goddess that holds the full moon sacred (specially in the Greek and Nordic pantheon)?

Almost all representations of the moon is a female goddess. Except for the Icelandic Eddas (what people usually call Nordic or Norse mythology). Which might be a translation error, because all the other Scandinavian societies have female moon goddesses.

You need to know that it does not have to be the goddess of the moon. It could also be another creature, which you just sensed.
