In continuum

Post by inMalkuth »

I had some ideas to share today, and had to ask myself whether I should allow a few bad apples spoil my opportunity to express myself. Then it occurred to me that the only ones replying to me are the bad apples, and that they care not for my ideas, nor are my ideas causing a stir within them. I have become ostracized and my voice probably will never be heard here. The only reason I have to share my ideas is to encourage a conversation, but this just does not happen here. Regrettably, as seems to be the case with most occult gatherings, a few people take control of the public voice and those who do not fall into the realm of what their voice proclaims get shunned away. Essentially what is left is the view of the ones who have taken over the place. In the occult realm one would think that all things are legitimate to consider and that the community would be open to any ideas, and encourage expression and analysis. In this atmosphere, I see this is not the case. Essentially what has happened is that a few speakers have decided what they approve and disprove of, and will demean the ones they disagree with, and praise the ones they agree with. Therefore the limitations of this space are defined by the enlightenment of those who speak. As I do not find room to move in this amount of space, I am choosing to stop posting. This is not to say that I will not be around to support those that speak from actual experience; I will keep an eye out for you.

I tried to edit this post but unfortunately this did not happen.

I appreciate that people have commented on my presentation and want to encourage me to speak more clearly, and I apologize again for my frustrations that this is all you would choose to discuss regarding my ideas. I doubt that the moderators care to police every comment, but as they are not doing so, I am choosing to avoid being subjected to casual insults every time I post an idea out of good will. I doubt that the offenders possess the ability to alter their point of view, and I would rather not be insulted at every turn. Essentially the bullies have won.
