Some things can not be changed.
Some things can not be changed.
Ah... When I was young. It has been decades now. But I remember it like yesterday.
I was so totally... Lets love everything and stuff. Oh hey, karma does not apply. Oh yeah, lets gut reality and rewrite it.
(Assuming you actually know how. Honestly the only one I knew was this guy from Greece and he taught me how.)
So, I later lived to regret it and changed everything back recently. Truth is, the danger in evil is that the only way evil gets good people to turn evil is to empathize with something evil. The Ancient spiritual workers created morals and caste systems to keep corruption from destroying everything and making everything corrupt.
If you are familiar with Kalachakra, Kalika... End times stuff... You understand the implications of how widespread corruption and degeneracy results in catastrophe and the eventual destruction of wicked people.
Oh, and while I am being specific, anyone practicing Islamic spirituality is poisoned by working with lower creatures, golems or jinn. In short Islam really is evil. I have not met one practicioner who wasn't manipulative, destructive and who did not bring everybody down.
Says 30 years experience, mind you, which is not easy as magic usually kills people before their time. Either their mind goes, or their health.
So, if you have doubts... It is good to quit before you regret it.

Spiritual boobytraps were created to keep everything in order and in line.
This reverence and gratitude for sacred things as well as penance help define how spiritually evolved a person is.
People who talk about ideas are successful, people who only talk about people are not.
The major rule I learned from my grandfather is to always keep your word, no matter what the cost is.

Yeah , you are a good example of how the mind goes , let alone the heart...
Thanks for giving us all a heads up , and warning about your nature...
We do appreciate that sort of thing...
And being so upfront and honest about your prejudices and phobias...
What a good boy... [moresarcasm]

That's interesting. I worked in a middle eastern restaurant years ago and my experience is a little different. I met tons of Muslim immigrants and they were some of the nicest, most spiritual, most interesting people I've ever met in my life. They were also constantly faced with adversity and mindless hate from people who don't know shit about them.Inundate wrote: Oh, and while I am being specific, anyone practicing Islamic spirituality is poisoned by working with lower creatures, golems or jinn. Awake from sleep! Remember you're the son of a Great King, see to whom you're enslaved!
Re: Some things can not be changed.
The problem with a casual interpretation of evil is that what the individual calls evil really isnt evil at all. REAL evil is something that most people ignore altogether. Simply being an asshole isnt evil.

Evil is a completely subjective man-made concept. It does not exist objectively.

Tell that to the man that murders your loved one.

I admire people who are willing and able to overcome their pain and forgive for the sake of peace or whatever other "higher cause". Even though being a "son" of Mars, that sort of philosophy is totaly alien to me.

You did nothing to refute my point there.inMalkuth wrote:Tell that to the man that murders your loved one.
The fly sees the frog as evil, the frog sees the hawk as evil, and the hawk is basically at the top of it's food chain, but I think you get the point. Hence, the subjectivity of evil. You think your God really cares if you get stabbed in the face? In that case, the whole biological kingdom would be going to hell.

Sometimes the fly does not even see the frog , nor the frog see the hawk ,
and further , the hawk does not see the mouse it eats , eating the poisoned
grain , that kills the hawk...let alone the mouse seeing the hawk... [wink] ... [shock2]
As Cronus said , looking at his "children" or time periods...FOOD !
