My weird dream

I had a dream the other night where I was looking for an answer to get something done in my life. I entered a dark almost haunted house area that began in a cave. I was seeking Anubis and when I found him deep in this haunted house he was in the form of a black cat. I tried talking to him but he kept saying “I can’t help you”. Not taking no for an answer in the dream I pursued him further in and found him again as a black cat but with a burned off face showing tissue. Again I implored him for help and again he replied “No I can’t help you”. He fled again and I followed him deeper into the darkness and ended up in a golden temple. Anubis was there and before my eyes shapeshifter into a little Gold pyramid. I asked for help again and he again said “ I can’t help you”. When I told him it’s all I ever wanted and to please give me the answer he came close and began to speak and I woke up. IDK what it means I am not neo pagan at all, but do work within the Gooden Dawn system at times. Any help?

I personally think that Anubis said "I could not help you currently". Not that he could not help you.

He is the Ancient Egyptian God of Death and also rules soul teaching.

It is important to take in consideration the form that you have encountered him. First, a black cat, which is symbolic to the occult (you practice the occult, so it matches), and then a pyramid.

A pyramid means a concentration of light and soon you can undergo a lot of spiritual power practices if you focus on the right path.

As for the cat appearing with a burnt face and a tissue, well, to me it seems that maybe not now, but in the future you may face certain obstacles that may cause at least some energy drainage. It's pretty common when practicing advanced occultism, I know the feeling.

As for the haunted house, well, I think it is something that called you to search your deepest corners of your minds. Your subconscious. Did you feel harmed in the haunted house? Was it a feeling of joy, sadness, or anger? Or was it an eerie feeling?

My interpretation....is that currently in your "overall life" your at a key roadblock and our struggling to get through. This state of your life is working itself out through your dream-state. From a magickal perspective.....you might try a road opening ritual or maybe make offerings to Ganesha (or some other being) to help you with said obstacles.

To give more answers to to the questions posed; I was not scared as I am a Halloween lover and enjoy haunted houses. Also I failed to mention that what was on my mind at the time was the love of a specific woman. I don’t deny they’re other issues in the dream, however that was my main focus talking to Anubis. I still wonder why I couldn’t hear what he was saying to me at the end. Just whispering gibberish until I woke up.
