Ritual Reading Comprehension

I am working through a talisman ritual and here are the instructions

The Talisman is placed outside the circle

A. Lesser banishing ritual of the Pentagram and Hexagram (Sol) over talisman saying exorcism

B. LBH followed by second exorcism

C. Then consecrate by water and fire

I read the instructions as

1. Perform LBRP and Lesser Banishing Hexagram of Sol
2. Exorcism
3. LBH and second exorcism
4. Purify and consecrate the circle with water and fire

Am I reading it wrong ?

It is a slightly odd ritual if it consecrates the talisman outside the circle.

Personally I would not use a talisman that required any banishing at all.

Much better to pick a talisman that is already functional. For example walk along a creek or beach until there is a stone that is looking at you. Test its energies for being life-supporting

Then test for the source and functionality of the energies in the stone.

If you do not know how to do such testing, perhaps better to learn before attempting occult work

The talisman is outside the circle before it is bound and hooded and brought in. I am just trying to make sense of these instructions

The streamlined way i understand that instructions is:

-Clear the "space" (ritual room...etc)
-Cleanse the talisman in preparation for consecration
-Consecrate talisman

Sounds like pretty standard procedure. Talismanic creation can be an extremely complicated or simple process depending on the nature of the Talisman and the systems your working within.

I guess I am wondering do I just do the LBRP and then draw the banishing pentagram and planetary hexagram over the talisman? Or do the LBRP and the LBH of the planet? Again the last part is the normal saturnine LBH and consecrating the circle with water and fire.

Not sure, can't say i have any expertise in GD magick. Perhaps you should look for a mentor in that tradition...working purely from books can be an uphill battle.
