do you have replication steps I could try? is that on some specific page/thread? or you mean DMs?

Private messages are the problem for me

it's not very obvious what's causing it, and I'm not able to replicate it on my end, perhaps due to difference in level of permissions on accounts, so if I can't find the cause, I'll have to to run some potentially destructive tests on some separate instance, which means it might take me few days to catch that bug, so I appreciate your patience with this.

Could any of you guys try testing sending DMs, if you can replicate the same issue? I've updated some bits and fixed some other bits, but I wasn't able to replicate issue either before or after. If you can cause the same error, can you please send me exact step what you did?

I try to "Send Reply" on a message thread and it says: "Some users couldn’t be added as they do not have permission to read private messages."

Once i send the message it says: "Some users couldn’t be added as they do not have permission to read private messages."
