What do you do when you have a card or cards that predicts that something bad
is gona befall you on that particular day? Do you stay at home in bed or just go
outside as usual?

Generally, I don't worry about it... What are you meant to do? Stay inside all day and not see anyone? That ""bad" card could be something very minor... maybe you could have a small argument with someone or if it was the devil for example you might impulsively buy something you should not. This is why I never read for myself at all...

1. I tell my self that "I don't believe in this useless crap anyway" and just go on, or...
2. I go out with a mild feeling of curiosity and amusement, wondering what kind of disasters the world will throw at me this time.
One must also remember that major catastrophes are pretty rare. So, I just tell myself that it can't be THAT bad.

I remind myself that the cards can only tell me my most likely future if I end up in certain situations based on my present path. I look at the siuation that is bad an do my best to avoid it. There are infinate possibilities for every step you take and the steps you don't take. Bad readings are there to warn you. I get them a lot. If I stayed in bed everytime I got a bad reading I'd rarely leave my apartment because of my own fear. Instead I go about my day as usual and hope for the best possible outcome.
There was a reading I did many years back. It was horrible but it wasn't as bad as it could have been because I had lots of love and support from the people I lived with.

[/QUOTE]Morning Z. Being a long term futurist and NOT a medium I'm not sure i would know the answer but, I agree with Z, Be careful and aware. Also be wary of " self fulfilling prophecies " where you subconsciously make it happen ".
A question. If someone charged money for such fortune telling, would they charge themselves for self readings ?:)

morning Alex, I just live day to day, but I plan trips way in advance, try to keep my life simple so I don't gather a bunch of garbage, doing that we can see further ahead for a good life, and when problems do come along, take care of them as soon as possible to clear your Path in Life, take care Bro >>> Don 8-)

What if the "something bad" is something that occurs to you "at home in bed", like you fall out of bed and hit your head?
Often taken overactive precautions creates the problem you are trying to avoid.
I have a deck of Lakota Sweatlodge Cards I use on a regular basis for several things. I have built a relationship with them and they work well for me. However, I always consult other sources if I have a concern about a reading. I pull out my stones, scry, or simply head out to my sacred spot and meditate on it, among other things.
I never allow a reading to change my normal routine and beahvior. However, I don't generally do readings on myself. I consult other available sources.
I say, go about your normal routine, but be cautious and not stupid. I have seen many times that being overly cautious causes one to do stupid things they normally would NOT do....and subsequently create the said "something bad".
IMHO
