I just really love doing this, because as most of you know, no matter how long youve read and studied Tarot, it can often be difficulty to maintain complete objectivity while interpreting for oneself. So - can I get some feedback on a four card spread from all of you, once again?
This reading is one section of a larger layout I did on a highly personal matter. I feel very close to this matter- and its not about my brother- but I dont want to say more incase it biases anyone. It represents a progression over time, an evolution of sorts but I am teetering on the brink of seeing what I hope for and what IS. What does this layout suggest to you? I'll comment more after Ive heard from my fellow enthusiasts.
The cards were:
Four of Cups
Page of wands
Queen of wands
reversed Seven of Swords
For those that arent really experienced with meanings and technicalities, initial impressions are most welcome, too.

Well this is a mix of book and thoughts; however if you were aware of the palmistry thread, I got hardly any of it right, so take my reading lightly LOL
Stopping to take stock, a sense of having moved on and becoming ready to leave something behind, this may be mentally although cups normally mean emotional to me; in fact, wanting to take risks now, a sense of readiness to forge ahead and make things happen, feeling like you can create your own path now, shaping it rather than just exploring it.
This new passion radiates into most areas of your life and others will receive you as a mature and capable woman, a charismatic woman; even so, this outer side feels like it wants balance with the homely side and wants the base to be a welcome place to return to.
There may be some kind of reconciliation too.

Very interesting Tisha, thank you. This reading is nor for me per se but a person I have a relationship with, good friend going through some bad times.
I see the Four as suggesting this person cannot recieve the gifts Im offering at this time nd hence this card accurately reflects this present moment. The person isfocused on other matters and doesnt see the spiritual gift being offered (or sees and cannot take it). In time though this sadness and absorption with sadness, turns to a Page attitude of excitment, willingness to learn, all the nice Page aspects - faithfulness in friendship, eagerness to learn etc.
Then it goes Queenof Wands which indicates a deeper conenction perhaps a coming inot ones own I would think, reconciliation with the FemininePrinciple as it ahs been possibly damaged in this individual.
Lastly I see the reversed Seven as turning outward for help with problems which would indicate the person I read for has come a looong way.
My concern here is I am putting a positive spin on this situation and not seeing the Shadow.
Where did you see reconciliation, Tish?

Yours seems a little similar to mine interestingly enough; I saw some kind of reconciliation with the last card I think, as in a return of some kind.
Can't quite see it now (was distracted with a phone call) but I think it may even be goods returned although I felt it was more to do with returning to a former relationship in a different way, maybe having grown a little and come back to proceed in a new way.
Sorry, kitchen rush hour, back later...

Dear Fera,
Here's my interpretation, for what it's worth -
Four of Cups indicates dissatisfaction and boredom with current situation, and the search for a more stimulating life.
Page of Wands indicates seomone who seeks to bring happiness and excitement to those around them.
Queen of Wands indicates both the success of a project, as well as relating to (quote) "A lady of the manor either living in or loving the country"
Seven of Swords (R) - Needing assistance to carry out a specified plan.
Mind you, tarot is not really my forte, and this interpretation is not very esoteric.

I was thinking maybe it could take a break from the things that bring you stress or it could cause troubles along the way. Or boredom of others and them pulling you into their drama may cause you troubles. Just an impression rather than actual book interpretation with this one.
