I had a dream or premonition while i was sleeping last night. It was very scary, due to the reality of the situation. I have visions from time to time that are in quite some detail, like a movie in my mind. But i also get some that are constant, daily, one's that happen after a big choice someone has made or i have made, or something one does. Due to people choosing things, making big choices it affects there future. These visions are not in explicit detail, about what 2 or 3 seconds of seeing something, a outcome and then knowing what will happen. But the more detailed, longer movie kind of visions happen every once in a while. Last one was when i was one where i was jogging outside and i saw myself get hit by a car and i felt like i was dying. It was like a movie in my head and everything. Awhile ago i made a thread on it, but it is long and lost. These visions i have gotten have been happenening since my magical awakening. A moment in my life where my abilities strengthened significantly and my believing in magic as well. Then they started to hapen. Believe me or not, i truly don't care, but there is a urgent matter at hand, this dream or premonition. I call it a premonition instead of a vision is because a premonition is something that will happen and a vision is something you can change. So here it is.
I was lying down sleeping of course and i got a premonition i believe or it could be a dream. It was myself, a little girl, i don't know who, and a women. The girl was in a dentist chair waiting for the dentist to get back. Obviously we were all at the dentists. Then all the sudden there is a explosion far away but gas was coming into the building. I immeditaly put on the oxygon mask on the girl so she wouldn't breath it. But then there was me and this women. We seemed to be the same age, in our twenty's or thirty's was the feeling i got and the look of her and myself, but not quite sure. We were standing there and she said i knew this would happen. She then went to the door and put something infront of it so the gas couldn't seep in anymore. Then all the sudden i woke up.
Now i don't know if this is a premonition or a dream. But my dream's arn't in that explicit detail first off, second it was in the movie like vision thing where it was just like a vision. It showed me explicit detail like a movie and talking and feelings like i was there. But it was weird. While i was there i was completly calm while she was not freaking out, the women, but saying she knew it would happen. I don't know why i would be calm, i was right about to die or was I. THe vision or dream didn't go far enough for me to see. But with visions ive learned that they show you enough for you to form a evaluation, and maybe do something about it i don't know. The other questions is, how did this women know it was going to happen? She maybe got visions, if so then i assume she was magical. The other assumption was that she and I worked for the government, i dunno. Just throwing out possibilites. But that still doesn't explain why i was so calm. Also i am under the assumption that she was my wife, the girl in the dentist chair was my daughter etc. I don't know anything is possible.
I just want to know what your guy's opinions are of this. Could this be something that might happen to the US. If so it is in a few year's i assume. But scary though, very scary. So whatcha all think of this?

when i read this gm i felt that i knew what it was that will happen but i dont know...i feel like i had something in the line of this but im not sure. but i think it is like some attack on the us or something i dont know but it wouldnt come to a surprise to me if it were to happen. i wouldnt be surprised if america was attacked again so...i dont know but i feel that this is important but...curses!

If you feel this is definetly a premonition, you need to start really Working on it. Dust off the tarot cards, get yourself a good scrying mirror, and keep a detailed journal of your dreams and Workings.
Pry into it in every way you can conceive of, get details, names, dates, whatever you can glean from the dream. Induce the dream if you can. Meditate on it. Evoke/invoke/summon, if that's more to your tastes.
As it stands, I don't think anyone can tell you anything about it that you don't already know.

I like to think the visions can be stopped, shit ive stopped tons of mine, one's about me and thing's that i might do in certain circumstances and enviornments. Honestly no, ive never had one's that are symbolic, they are all specific. They show detail, complete detail. The one's i get constantly are what all of four seconds but show people, what they are doing, what the outcome will be etc. The longer more detailed one's do the same but are longer, more specific to what the person is doing etc. It elaboarate's more on the emotion of the people, what they are saying and doing, what they look like etc.
About the goddess thing, personally i don't recognize the goddess. I acknowledge there is one, but i don't worship/ pray to, call upon her or anything to that degree. I am a christian that practices magic. I believe in a god/higher power, i believe in the saint's and deity's as well. I believe there are gods and goddesses but i believe they are all lower then the ultimate god, the christian one. But i don't fully believe what the bible says about everything. Some stuff i think is just what the prophets believed that god said and he didn't. I believe that god is the highest being in our world and other worlds. He created all of us, and he created the other gods and goddesses and deity's and saints. i believe the other higher beings have power, but not as much as the ultimate god, the one that created everything.
I don't know if that helps your goddess theory or not but i would like to know.

As to acting calm I would say that both of you remember the post at that time and know everything will turn out ok for your family. With that statement it would appear that you won't be able to effect the events because your future self knows what will happen because your future self had that same dream and would obviously try changing the events but unsuccessfully. Could be that you don't even try to change those events because of my post, you may think that it's unavoidable. That's the problem with seeing things before they happen, you don't know what leads up to that situation. I would suggest trying to effect the events on whatever scale you can at this point. I have had a precognitive dream once before. I had dreamed that I was sitting on a couch watching my brother lifting weights when my hand slipped into the back crack in the couch and I pulled out a remote we had been looking for. A few months after that dream I was sitting on the couch watching my brother lift weights when that dream came to my mind. So instead of my hand slipping into the crack I got up and put my hand down in the crack and pulled out the remote. Now evidently my dream didn't exactly follow reality, but was slightly changed by the fact that I recalled the dream and purposfully stood up and put my hand down in the crack. It was a small change but a change none the less. My point in telling you this is that we won't know if you had changed the event in some way or not until it happens if it does. I know this is double speak but it's pretty much unavoidable when it comes to seeing future events. It's natural to have doubts as to if you can change it. Like I said, from the description of your dream it sounds like your future self had the same dream as you when he was you. Do you try to change it knowing that your future self probably tried and it didn't seem to help? My answer is yes you do. Who knows, maybe this time you'll be able to change it or stop it. Only time will tell.

I think that it can be changed, how much I'm not sure. I would advise going to the dentist as it may just save your families life GM.
