'Medicine Wheel' dream ???

Firstly I must appologise for plundering this forum without never having really made a contribution.

I have a question:

I feel very drawn to learning about some aspects of Shamanism. I used to dream vividly of living about 200 years ago in North America and being friends with an Indian Shaman. He would draw a circle of fire around us both when we sat in meditation around his sacred fire. Into this circle would come immense force and healing. Is this a sort of Medicine Wheel? He is still around in spirit and I call him 'Tall Trees' The wolf was also important along with the snake. A friend recently had a similar dream in which he was holding a baby wolf that had just been born.
Does any of this make sense to anyone. Have any of you had similar dreams?
Any help or 'pointers' would be greatly recieved by both of us

This would normally go in the dream thread in Divination.

The spirit that came into your dreams was a very healing masculine aspect. It is about a medicine wheel where the strengths of wolf and snake are called for your transformation.

It would help to know at what age you had that dream and your life situation at the time. The wolf is a symbol of loyalty and magic and the snake is the life force (Kundalini) and transmutation.

For me the first time this dream occured I must have been in my mid 20's and it has occured several times over the years. It came back recently and I am now 42. My life situation is happily married with 2 children but I am trying to start doing what I know I should be doing for a job - work as a childrens illustrator! We are currently battling with financies like a lot of people. I work part time and study the rest of the time at college...

Working withe suggestion you have given Sud Ram has proved to be very interesting to say the least. I recently went into a severe 'healing crisis' and 'Tall Trees' became my guide on what I can only discribe as a spirit journey. My internal energies have undergone a rapid shift.

I've taken to working outside and creating a 'circle' in the hills and woods....with interesting results!

I'm happy that you are getting well

Keep a log of your dreams in a book if you can. It helps to make better calls when you a re working out in Nature.

Also I would find a .... tall tree, and offer it some food that you like. Natural things only like fruits, corn, vegetables or something like that. Bury it at the foot of the tree and hold your intention of that tree being a connection. This is just an idea but I find offerings to Nature to always bring interesting results when they are sincere.

Hi Sud Ram,

Just an update, I've been working as suggested with nature and expressing the desire for harmony and order. The results are quite significant so far...

Harmony is manifesting as birds and animals walking into my home and my place of work and sitting with me!!

Kind of wierd huh?!

I'm fed up already with being called Francis of Asissi !!!!!!
